Stuck

I am on the fourth floor since starting the game. I start in a room to the South. I can leave the north end of the room and I come to a lobby. From the lobby there is a locked door to the north. There are two rooms to the east and west that lead to nothing. Anyone know where to find the key to open the north door?

=EDIT= I found the key I was looking for in the east room in a drawer. I do not know how I did not search the drawer the other 10 times I was in that room.
