Will this work on Kinect?
Any news on if older games like this one, that use the camera, will work with Kinect?

I'm thinking no, as the game wasn't designed for Kinect. It would most likely need updating and since they haven't fixed the glitched achievements, I doubt they'll add Kinect support.

Depends: If the basic technology is similar enough, it might work.
If not, I agree with Jessara, the game was just not popular enough to make MS even care to update.

So, I just asked the guy at the Kiect booth at gamesCom and got a Yes: Old Xbox Live Vision compatible games will be able to use the Kinect camera.
BTW, the Kinect bar is huge, I see many people getting trouble putting them anywhere near their TVs.

I could see it working with Kinect, just not as well as a game designed for it.
Oh well, still a great game.

A good one?
I doubt it will. A vision camera just detects movement and doesn't actual recognise 'body parts', etc. Whereas kinect can determine every little body movement. Because of this, the game was set up just to detect movements in the areas which movement was required to do whatever (ie, turn the will, run from a bull, etc). I think I'd be right in saying so, hope this helps.

The movement detection in XBLV games was on the software-side of things afaik. The old camera just delivered a videofeed.

From the Xbox forums, reports are saying that Vision Camera games will not work with just a Kinect. |
