Why do I not have the sell your shotguns achievment?

I went through the level at least five times. One time I traded out my shotgun for the sniper. Another time I just kept it and never used it. Then I figured I would go to the level befor and make sure I don't have a shotgun for the next level. Every time I didn't get the achievment. Does anyone know whats wrong? If you do please help me.

I had the same problem. Are you sure you went to the next level? That's what happened to me. I thought that "mother superior" was over after the boss.
