You have my honest Respect for WaW ... i will finish CoD 2, CoD 4 and probably MW 2 again on my new profile on veteran but World at War is just too annoying for me ...

It's good to see that others feel the same about CoD2 as I do. I played all CoD an I have to say that this really hard to do on Veteran. Some parts were easy but the in some Missions you're happy of each checkpoint you get. Stalingrad is an example.
The one thing I noticed is the following: There is a part when you have to shoot down some plains that are attacking you. I had such a terrible checkpoint that I never ever got the chance to fire one shot befor I got killed. So If you have a Situation with a real bad checkpoint don't play hours around this - just restart the level.

So far I've played CoD: Finest Hour, Cod 2: Big Red One, Cod 2, Cod 3, and Cod 4. I'd have to say this is the easiest on veteran to me for some reason. I've beat it twice on vetaran one because I wanted achievements obviously and had to beat it again cause my profile got totally deleted when I signed up my profile on xbox live so therefore I had to do again and I did it on veteran in 2 days about 7 hour sessions each.

found this pretty easy, try WAW and complete that on veteran, come back to this and you'll fly through, if not play a bit more and get used to the levels.

I would advise you to take it slow but sometimes running through the enemies is a good tactic when you have a smoke grenade etc.

(ALTHOUGH i dont like people saying hill 400 or d-day is hard, it was the easiest missions there)

Ahh yes, the memories. There were a few places that were difficult on Veteran. This is a great game though!!! Good pick up if anyone is able to come across it!

I was stuck on the level with the aa gun got to the gate checkpoint
Three planes then bomb me before iv even got to the gun (your meant to kill a whole buffet of people then use the gun )I guess it must of glitched restarted did it in like 30 mins after dodging 900 million grenades that land smack bang at me feet ..

I would agree with most posts -grenade spamming is aweful on this game. Most annoyingly is that your fellow Ai's can throw them back but you can't, and the fact there is no "sprint" feature. but only 2 missions left to go on Vet then done for my 1k G's!

Last 4 missions left, they will prolly be worst. This game really tries your patience but once you start trying you won't give up the level until you complete it.

The grenade spam is very annoying yea, it seems the game throws them at you if you try hide in a spot.

I do remember one super-smart tank driver in a square courtyard giving me some issues when trying to put explosives on his vehicle, but the most frustrating part for me was having my little cousin's copy of the game become unreadable at one point and not let me finish the game. 5 Gamestops within 5 miles of me and it took me months to find another one!!! Just really aren't many copies floating around anymore-

I found the tank part easy myself if you mean the end part with the two tanks camped behind wall for first and then went all the way back to the aa gun for second shot it with that

Now iv finaly done this bitch of a game yay no more shouting what **** ever at the screen when I get 9 grenades at my feet (not as bad as the average 15 on waw but still annoying)

I didn't fully understand the first run-on sentence, but no, that certainly was not the area I spoke of. It was a small square courtyard, which was inside of a larger square-shaped road. There was one tank and it had to be manually destroyed by planting a C4 charge onto it-

This fiasco occurred about midway through the game. It's evasion skill was commendable, though it was more of an annoyance than a pose of difficulty-

Anyway, as previously stated, my biggest problem was finding a copy of the game in full working condition-

If you think CoD2 Vet is hard, go play Halo 2 on Legendary by yourself. I used to think CoD games were hard, but Halo taught me a thing or two.

Just completed on Veteran. Definitely a challenge but I would say very doable. Finished over the course of 3 days. Didn't really get stuck on any parts for too long. The real key to this game was knowing when to be patient and when to put my head down and run!

Now do I want to do Black Ops next or World at War....hmmmm

The hardest part of this game I remember is the Silo mission. You have to search like 7 different houses, it's just a pain in the ass overall. I could swear it took at least 100 attempts.
