Midnight Launch anyone ?

If you didn't get the extra equipment per say when you pre-ordered i would so be first in line

Sadly I have school and can't do that. I will get it during the day because I no longer have a 3rd block so I'll be getting it a little earlier than I usually would.

I've pre-ordered it. I would have gone to a midnight launch but I want the DLC, plus it's being released on a college day so there's no point anyway.

Maybe in the future for something that I dont pre-order, but pre-orders deffinatley the best thing to do at the moment.

Well that varies on where you go. I know GAME did a midnight launch on something (I cannot remember what it was) and you didn't need to pre-order. But that is generally what they do now.
What I meant when I was talking about pre-ordering was pre-ordering it online to be delivered, rather than pre-ordering it to pick it up in-store whenever you can.

I'll probably go to the midnight release if I can find some people to go with. I don't really feel like going to it by myself so if I can't find anyone to go with then I will just pick it up right when they open in the morning.

My copy will be in my disc tray by 12:10am. And I'll show up at GameStop at like... 11:55pm probably.

There will be a bit of a line though. A lot of preorders for RDR as well as AW at my Gamestop.

I can think of 1000 things that are more nerdy, this is more of a geek thing though, but still i can think of 1000 things geekier! I wont be going to the midnight release, fuck that! But i dont see a problem with people who do it.

By the way, is it really that nerdy if you don't normally fall asleep until well, well, well after midnight (like 4-6am)? If you're normally awake well through midnight and up till 4am playing video games anyway...then it's not particularly nerdy so much as just another shopping trip. Right?
