i know this thread hasnt been posted in for a week or more, but i had to let my sigh of relief out somehow without starting a lame pointless thread...

i beat it in a rental period. with less than a day to spare. got 100% of the single player achievements and none of the online.

personally, i thought COD2 was much easier on Veteran. that furnace room... WOW. HARD.

There were a few hard pats but but if just use cover and get to another piece of cover when all enemies are eliminated it isn't that hard. Completed it in 3 days. I have played 2 other Cod but i both completed them at the easiest difficulty. This was my first game I completed at the hardest difficulty ever.

i thought it was a lot harder then cod 2. cod 2 only took me like 2 days but this one took awhile. very frustrating.

It took alot longer than CoD2, that's for sure. I just wish I could get the rest of those multiplayer ones! I still only have like 2 of those.

im working on it right now, my friend played a little bit and i forgot where i was but im going to figure it out and finish because i want that 150 points, im also 400 away from getting the Captain achievement for 200 points online

I beat it on Vetern the other day. The second to last level is by far the hardest I thought.

I have like 6125 for Online play so Im working on getting 8000

I get nightmares everytime I hear that phrase . Easily the worst part of the game.

I finished CoD3 on veteran sometime last winter. I've made it a goal to play all CoD/MoH games on veteran right from the get-go. So far so good. Waiting on CoD4 and Airborne.

Fuel plant and the first checkpoint of the game really made me just want to drop the game.

Beat CoD3 on Veteran yesterday. While there were some very difficult parts (The Island and The Falaise River), CoD2 was definately harder. Most of CoD3's difficulty came from bad checkpointing, bad squad AI, and several other bugs in level design. All-in-all, I only recommend this to the die-hard WW2 fans.

I finished cod3 on veteran almost at the beginning of the release.
But i hated it, there were so many bugs and shit that i almost threw the cd to HELL.

Cod2 was mor fun to play on veteran, better singelplayer. Its all ewul i say.

I did it a while back. Had some troubles with the first checkpoint and getting through the fuel plant. Besides that it was a breeze.

I achieved this a long time ago, but I think CoD3 veteran was actually harder than CoD2. Might be because I actually enjoyed playing CoD2 Campaign. Most difficult levels had to be Fuel Plant and that forest. At some points I just had to wait still and let my AI buddies clear some enemies, cause whenever I lifted my head I got nailed by mg's and was unable to do anything. One of these points were in that second level (The Island?) where there is a ridge and on top of it a german defense line.
