Copy protection- important question

hey guys!
i heard a lot about that damn securom protection software.
some people say i can install dirt2 as often as i want, some people say i can install it only ONE time. what is true now?
i want to sell dirt 2 after finishing it.

most pc games are linked to the serial key, i wasnt able to sell red faction for that reason, though i had no problem selling a fully registered fallout 3: GOTY eddition, it may have been reusable or the shop didnt notice /care.
