Cavalier Ability/Unlocking Kenji
The higher the cavalier ability gets the faster/better horse I get when this ability is turned on right? It's at 3 I want to get Kenji need like 6 right/ Also should I put on 2P and leave one guy by drum hit when necessary? Also what side should I take to his base left or right? I would let my brother or friend help but they suck at these kind of games no idea what to do.... They try to stab my own men!

Having a 2P controller to hit the drums on an idle character would help a lot. As for which side, you'll have half of your allies attack from the left and another half at the right. You need to be on a fairly quick horse or be able to run around really fast in order to kill off any enemy generals and well....anything in the way of your allies. You can't let any of the reinforcements or Lu Meng die.
Concerning Cavalier, yes, the higher the level of it, the better the horse you start on will be. Eventually you can get Red Hare. |

I am just attempting this and like other missions just interim save and back out to the main menu if something does not go the way you want it too.

I guess I'm weird...I don't use Cavalier, like ever. I did this without, just use a maxed out character with a good 4th weapon, preferably a fast-moving character (Sun Shang Xiang was my pick if I remember correctly). Alternatively, use a strong character with clearing potential to kill with and a fast one to run between the drums and the enemies. Also, knowing where the enemy will end up is a plus. If you know that, you can sound the drums and run to where they will be before they show up, then take them out when they arrive. Also take as many base captains out as possible. They will get taken back, several times for some, but they also tend to halt the enemy's advance. It took me a few hours to finally pull it off (wish I thought to use controller 2...DOH!), but it wasn't hard, there's just no room for error.
