What if the site isn't available in a few years? Are they really going to dedicate people to answer customer service for website issues and gamertag linking?

That seems really stupid. The achievement should be "send yourself an email" and then you get it. This is far too buggy and complicated for too many people.

well right right, but say if you have an issue where it won't link or in that guys case, won't allow you to choose it when you are in game, what can we do?

There is some speculation that you have to be Rank 1 to upload this mask as well. I have not been able to confirm that, although once i was able to upload my mask i did see on the website on my account it say Rank 1. So that is very possible, im waiting to hear back from the AO2 Community Devloper on that. Everything you need to get this achievement is stated above. If it isn't working, contact EA. The only problem with this achievement is linking your GT and they can fix that.

tailz, one last problem.
can't seem to get the achievement to unlock. have played a full public match of co-op deathmatch, warzone, and control. have my custom mask selected for both salem and rios, but the achievement won't pop and it doesn't show me wearing the mask in the game. any idea why?

There are 2 Factions, The AO2 faction and the Chinese one. Make sure when you go to Player setup you set your mask on both factions. Look at your player if your Mask isnt on his face, you didn't equip it.It will pop as soon as you join a Public Game.

is this for the ea chat? if so, it doesn't matter. i used a fake birthdate when i signed up for live since i was underage but i gave them my regular birthdate when i was talking to them.

I fixed the EA CHat link. Its in the Guide, use IE not Firefox it doesnt wanna work.

The most common are that you do not have the correct persona selected (discussed previously in this thread) and that your gamertag is already taken (it was probably registered with a previous EA game, like dragon age for example, and you are logging in with a different email/password). If this is the case you can recover that account info with the password recovery.

Check your Persona in your account and make sure it says "Xbox Live Gamertag" not "EA ID". If it says EA, you need to contact EA support and have them fix it and link your Gamertag.

If you're already linked try playing online until; you reach Rank 1. Then it will work

That was frustrating. i just spent 2hrs talking to someone about my tag.... turns out someone had linked my gamertag to ''classy1@yahoo.com'' ive never seen that email in my life! then he went on to say that because i couldnt verify info on that email he couldnt transfer it! i mean WTF! so after another 10mins or so he finally got up and asked his supervisor if he could make an "exception" for me. Thank god he did. but it frustrates me when people use stuff thats not theirs

lol i've honestly lost track of the amount of people who have issues linking there accounts to EA. They should learn and keep this type of stuff out of the game, it just causes too much problems. Every sports game i've played has this issue, usually around trying to upload player faces and such.

Your guide seems perfect though Tailz, the issue seems to be with people linking their EA accounts to their gamertags... which is nothing new :P

Yeah, I think i've simplified it enough to the point its pretty easy now.

I can select all the masks except for the custom ones when I go to play Versus. I can't get the selector down there. I can see my custom masks, I just can't select them.

Hit A or RB...sometimes it wont let you...back out and try again

When I try to publish and send to game it says 'Error can not get in game graphics" or something along those lines and freezes. This is so dumb that it is required for 1000/1000. Damn you EA.

i was having the same issue, you need to hit b it will then cycle to the custom masks. it's stupid cause b is labeled back they should have labeled b as cycle mask or something like that. hopes this helps anyone else having issue.

I HAVE A QUESTION!

This is something that's been pissing me off about the mask creator feature...

I am 15, and I signed onto EA with an account that was 15 years old...now I can't access armyoftwo.com because I'm not 18.

CAN I MAKE A MASK AND GET THE ACHIEVEMENT ALTHOUGH I'M NOT 18?
