It should also be noted that the "short versions" of all the songs DO disable 100% notes hit achievements, as well as 100% solo ones, for the solos are usually omitted. For example, ""Dig"'s short version has no solo.

Uhm well im at the last venue and i have more then 47.000.000 fans and almost 700 stars everything on expert so i don't see how u could not have the 1.000.000 fan achievement but thanks for the guide

Man I wish this game had on-line play on it. I'm so close to 1000 and just can't finish since I don't have a third physical body willing to play this piece of garbage. Oh well. Milked it for all it was worth, and finishing it up now while I'm work. Thank you microphone and super easy trick

Thanks for the guide, helped me decide to rent it, just wish I noticed it had no on-line. I read all off-line but I thought you meant that the on-line ones had an OPTION to be played off-line, not that there was no internet co-op. Guess it was my gross oversight

EDIT: Actually I think your total time listing is horribly off. I've got well over the 20 hours specified for the game. I spent 2 nights at work doing it, so I figure 4 hours a night on it there. 8 + one night going straight at it at home on a night off for 7 hours, then 3 mornings of 3-4 hour gameplay (rounding down to 3) and 7 hours today of letting it run super easy against a mic. I'm pushing about 31 hours now and I still haven't played every gig, done the flawless drumming, Final Countdown solo (which will add time for me since it's complicated) and not had a chance to find a third to aid in the two 4-player achievements to even tack the time for those two on, which I'd assume would be just 4 minutes max if I find people good enough to get 100%.

Seemed to use DLC but not all my DLC was used just some of my DLC was used also the game seemed gltichy as sometimes it would switch my language to spanish at the end of the set and kick me out then at the end of the game I am missing a gig so i can't get my final achievment. Any Ideas or do i need to do an entire new play through?

I have all achievements except for the 4 player bands, the guitar solo in Final Countdown, and play every gig...
I am 10 songs in to the Endless Setlist, using Super Easy mode and my TV
I just rented this game on saturday and have logged maybe 14 or so hours on it... Its such an easy game, but some songs are fun, others I want to shoot myself.

With this game the 100% achievements are a piece of cake. They added a Super Easy mode to the game. Guitar is simple. Vocals are flat. Drums are nothing. And Bass is a joke. You can literally play any song and get these. Easiest song is probably Charlene.

Score 100% notes hit as a Drummer

Charlene is again the easiest song, and is a free download from the marketplace. Playing on Super Easy you only have to hit a few notes. If you can play on Easy very well then this achievement is nothing for you. Super Easy has Auto-Kick on and the achievement still unlocks.

Here is the super easy cheap way:

Play Charlene on Super-Easy. Remember auto-kick is on, so no kick pedal needed. Now never ever use your star power. Because the Overdrive sections for drums take away actual song you dont have to even play those. So it cuts the song in half. Making the ending, which is a line of yellows and reds, very very easy.

We Will Rock You is another very easy song on drums. It is just red notes. Simple and easy.

Flawless Singing 20
Score a 100% rating as a Vocalist

By playing on Super Easy the fan trick works here. You can leave a fan running and get you 100%, even on We Will Rock You which is one of the hardest vocal songs. Again, just play Charlene because it is 1 minute long.

Flawless Groove 20
Score 100% notes hit as a Bassist

Charlene is very very easy on Expert, so Super Easy is nothing. There are only a few notes, nothing even close to being complicated.

Well this bit of the guide isn't very accurate, it must be said, here is how I got them, incredibly easy...

This one is very easy, simply because every song on super easy is... well easy. For this one, I used Charlene and put it on Super Easy. One thing I noticed on Super Easy is, it gives you lots of chances for everything, but due to how the guitar works out, this is harder then the drums in terms of the tactics you can use. Just do a few re-runs but it's so easy on Charlene so don't worry about it.

The trick to earning this one is quite straight forward. Play the song "We Will Rock You". Now use the buttons on the drum kit and go on Super Easy, this way the kick drum is done for you and the buttons ensure that you wont double tap a pad. Now what you need to do is build up enough star power so you can get a fill to activate it. On Super Easy it gives the chance for anything, so simply build up the star power, but DON'T use it because then it will keep giving you the fill to do, just miss it out and continue to hit the green and red notes.

With a little practice, this one is very easy.

I found this really hard at first but with about 3 or 4 goes in practice mode on 100% speed I went to do it, I missed one blue hammer on and I currently don't have it, but it is very easy and will only take a maximum of about 3 attempts if that.

to add onto this video, add a link to the thread to "final countdown solo help" for the final countdown achievement to give everybody multiple ways of hitting it. add the link to the thread"practice makes perfect by yourself" too, as it has already helped out many. also, 3/10 difficulty for 1000/1000 is a little low, because the solo gave expert players trouble.

sorry if i sound a little mean with this. its a great chievo guide thats almost complete and ready to be made official, so congrats.

really, there is nothing wrong with what is already written in the guide. super easy is a joke, and people without arms can pretty much 100% at least one song on super easy for all instruments. and the "brian may be jealous" achievement is easier on "pink" or "dig", rather than swing swing, so im guessing that you haven't played them yet. in all respect, please do some research on what you are posting because nothing you put down would improve this guide that is written the way it is now.

try getting the optimal path from a youtube video or something or look on scorehero to find the score needed to gold star it. songs are gold starred by score, not by an fc of the song. also, free play doesnt matter.

you can also try the "charlene" method on any instrument (since they all are easy) and activate immediately to get gold.

There are 3 star power paths on We Will Rock You that work for the solid gold easy action achievement.

Activate at 1/2 full (ie 2 sections of white notes) and 3/4 full (ie 3 sections)
Activate at 3/4 full and 1/2 full (same as above just other way around)
Activate at full and you pick up the last 1/4 on top.

You do not want to activate at 1/2 and 1/2 as this means you don't get to use the last 1/4.

Seeing as I suck on Music based games above the difficulty of Medium, I noticed that only a couple of achievements had difficulty settings... so does that mean I can score around 900 points from this game on easy or medium?.

you can get up to 950 on easy. the only two difficulty ones include the expert solo and final countdown expert solo. the expert solo is still really easy, but the final countdown solo is a pain in the ass

One useful thing to note when going for the Expert Solo achievement is that in this game you cannot fail a song. So you don't even have to practice the rest of the song to get to the solo, unlike the other RB games. So What by Pink is definitely the easiest solo to pick it up on.

Edit: Great guide SengIV. It was a great help in finding the easy solo songs and gold starring a song.

You can actually unlock all of the furniture, clothing and instrument achievements, all venues, the different level of fans and stars if you play split screen with someone who already has them unlocked, my friend got an easy 250+ GS off of 1 song

To be honest, the only real use I had for buying the game was to blase past the achievements and then export the songs over to RB2, but I found that it was a pretty good game on it's own. But most people would have just bought the game, exported the songs, and sold it.

It is a pretty easy 1000GS though (except for that 100% solo of Final Countdown, I'm still working on that, haha).

I read the guide and noticed you guys don't talk about the games most annoying achievement. The Veteran performer, were you play every gig.

The last 5 gigs won't unlock for anybody.

Does anybody know how to unlock them?

Wow a lot of mean posts here... Isn't this a Lego game? LOL! Sounds like you guys suck at Gears of War and decided to play a lego game, none the less a Rock Band game and you probably aren't good enough to play the other music games so you decided to play this version and still couldn't get the full 1000... At least SengIV took the time to make the list to be helpfull. I didn't think the guide was that bad. thanks SengIV.
