I predict that they will be a pain to get the whole 1000 with items to get all over the map with some that cant be gotten, glitched that won't work, or just a pain to get to.

Well I had it for the originla xbox but I saw the acheivements for the first one and it seemed easy. Now a days though they make the lists harder. This will probably have a harder list than the first.

I'm really hoping for another ambulance glitch in the game. Looking for all the collectibles would be a pain in the ass, even more so if they make the world bigger. Plus i hope that they make it easier to find vehicles, I swear. Whenver i was anywhere it was almost impossible to get a car unless i called for one.

i think achievments will be:

100 parachutes
kill 100 people with assualt rifle etc etc
use grapple hook 100 times
complete game on easy, hard, normal etc etc
every mission get 20g

Chances are the achievements won't be much different from the original one. For the most part I'm betting they'll be storyline based but that said I wouldn't mind seeing some more of the stunt ones.

Well there's no multiplayer or difficulty settings so they can't be THAT hard. I love single player achievements. I have every single player achievement in most of the games I've played. I don't bother with the online ones most of the time.
