YES! RAIDERS OVER BENGALS! WOOT! I'm sad Jamarcus didn't play and that the Raiders coaching staff alone destroyed his possible growth to being a superb QB, but a win is a win. Yes, I know, Cedric wasn't there, but still! Yay!

It was not the coaching staff alone. The media and fans probably hyped him up too much and he didn't help himself by skipping his last year of college and holding out for so long as a rookie.

Hahaha, ohh man. Everyone thought the bears would be killed this week but they're putting up a fight. Also look at that special teams!
Tim Shaw had some big hits on the PR and that KR.
To be honest though, i miss Ayebedejo.... he was a great tackler and an excellent special teamer. I guess he's doing good now with the Ravens
Edit*
Also, Tillman, freaking Beast... 3 forced fumbles tonight giving him 22.
Wow what a crazy week. KC and Oakland BOTH beat teams with winning records!? How about that Phillly-Chicago game? I thought bears were gonna drive down the field and win it. And of course I've gotta mention my Vikes are now 9-1, woot!
Well, the season has 6 more weeks to go. If the season ended today, who's every ones picks for MVP and Rookie of the year? Rookie of the year is close between Percy harvin and Knowshon Moreno for me. I give it to my man Percy Harvin for now. MVP is close for me. Its between Drew Brees and Brett Favre. I lean slightly more to Favre. Look at what he did for Minnesotas Offence. The only new weapon is Harvin, everyone else was already there, they couldn't get any big plays. Add a veteran QB to the roster and BOOM, you get an explosive offence. Drew Brees is also amazing at what he does. Hes turning guys you never heard of into NFL stars.

Ohhh man, just let me say this..... Out of everyone on the bears team right now, the go to guy and the most reliable IMO is Johnny Knox. He's playing outstanding as a rookie, especially for a fifth round draft pick. Sure most of Cutlers picks come from targets to him, but that's besides the point. He's tall, fast and from what i've seen so far he could catch. Also, let me say this about Cutler, i still love him. He can still be the savior of the franchise, but you need to give him time. You can't expect him to change the entire franchise after one season. I swear, in 2-4 years, the bears will make a superbowl appearance again. He just needs to get more in sync with his wide receivers and not be scared to get hit. Grossman had a serious problem of running away when he felt the pressure... and he ran in the wrong direction. Yes, i still think Grossman could still be a good quarterback... he just needs to stop running away and learn to take a hit sometimes.
Also, Charles Tillman, you're still a beast. He forced three fumbles in one game. I know that what he does is pretty risky compared to wrapping up, but when it comes to forcing fumbles he's pretty damn crazy.

Brees is not in MVP talks for me. Not even close. His team is perfect, but their sketchy performances and inconsistency in Brees has removed him from my list for an MVP candidate. He's not nearly as consistent as Peyton.
Anyways, I think Peyton Manning should win. His team has received the most change (for the bad) yet he's coaching the team by himself essentially. Peyton is the guy who would win it for me.
Favre will probably win it, though, because he's old and he came back from retirement, blah blah blah! If he wins it, I will punch him in the nuts.
As for RoY, it's between Stafford, Maclin, and Harvin. Sanchez has fell off the map. If Stafford keeps playing how he did last night, he's probably going to win it with a blow out.

I'll kick him in the nuts when your done with him. For the love of god, Favre either needs to keep playing or retire period. This flip flopping crap is getting old.
how bout them eagles my fave team played a good game today some mess ups thoughts?
They got the job done. The Bears aren't a great team to begin with, so to only win by 4, I really don't think the Eagles are as good as they projected they were.
Man, the Bengals had an opportunity to put some real space between themselves and the rest of the pack in the AFC North, and they lay an egg in Oakland?? Wow. Just wow.
It's still looking like the Colts and Saints are on a crash course for February.

I get sick to my stomach just thinking about that. We put all our marbles into winning this year. And now it's not gonna happen, and we may have to suffer through Jake for a few years while our standout players, D'Will, Stewart, Smitty, Beason, T. Davis, Gross, etc., get older and tired of losing. Yeesh.
I was never a favre lover, but come on the man is playing the best he ever has at 39(I think that's how old he is?)!
Pretty sure he turned 40 earlier in the season. And to be honest, he deserves it. He is playing really lights out. He's only throw three ints to....what, like twenty, twenty-one? If he stays on this trajectory, it's in the bag.

Favre is notorious for throwing a lot of INTs. The only conclusion I can come up with is that everyone is out of position because of Peterson. In my opinion, this has allowed to Favre play better than he ever has. He's never had the best RB in the league be on his team before. Plus, he has some really athletic WRs out there, too. Solid team effort, but he's not going to get it. I'd be very shocked if The Colts came close to finishing the season perfect and he didn't win it.
I'm a Bucs fan so I don't have much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. I guess I can be happy we have a lot of good draft picks next year. That should help pull us out of the gutter.

Yes, but let's say Manning threw 30 TDs and 5 INTs. MVP for sure, yes? What about Brees? Or Brady? My point is, that ratio is ridiculous. Plus, factor this in: What is the biggest change in the Vikings from last year to this year? I believe it may be number four back there in purple and gold.

I would agruge the Vikings are a solid team, because of Favre being there and his knowledge of the game, and his rocket arm. Favre has come up BIG for the vikings in clutch plays, 49ers game last play of the game. Would the Vikings be 9-1 without Favre? Lets not forget AP only broke 100 what once? If the Vikings had a different QB and AP was putting up these numbers, would they win like they have?
Man I'am sounding like a favre lover.><

Favre is definitely having a great season and has made the vikings a better team but they went 10-6 last year with Gus Frerotte and Tarvaris Jackson so it's not like it would have been hard for them to upgrade at the QB position.
With one of the best running backs, best offensive lines and best defensive lines in the league it's really no surprise that the Vikings are having a great season. Favre has come up pretty clutch such as the play against the 49ers but in reality it was Lewis who made that play, that catch was incredible.
