I expected a lot more from this; the idea was great, and the acting was ok... but it just wasn't scary enough, and the antagonist Craig was pretty boring.
That film used some really cheap tactics. Unecessary jumpy moments and OTT weirdness... I like psycological horrors that get in your head and are clever, not some stupid sick constumed man jumping out without the proper suspense. I did see this film like 4-5 years ago mind, so I don't remember that much, just feeling a bit sick. I was like 12 mind... But it shows that it's crap because I don't really remember it, the good horrors burn themselves into my brain

-The Mist: 6.5/10 I got what I expected. A lot of the time the movie was quite laughable and I laughed quite hard at the ending. I'm not heartless or anything but I had trouble taking the film too seriously so I definitely didn't take the end too seriously. If the movie was acted and overall just better in general, I definitely would have found the ending quite depressing.
-Boogie Nights: 10/10 Great movie. I definitely have love/hate feelings for Wahlberg and this is definitely on the love side. He doesn't act necessarily incredibly in the movie, he just seems very natural in the role of the confused, shy, and quirky teenager. Has a great story and I've always been surprised by the ending because of the character development throughout the film. Any way, it is definitely one of the many brilliant masterpieces from P.T. Anderson and one of my probably my favorite 25 or 50 films(I could give you a list of 300 or 400 great must see films easily so 25 or 50 is a select few) as well as There Will Be Blood (also P.T. Anderson).
Jennifers Body - 0/10
Was not expecting anything spectacular and it was below my expectations in every way utterly shit.
Harry Brown 9/10
Great acting on Michael Caines part, good overall film although for such an old man it was a little far fetched.
I agree with Jennifer's Body, only good thing is Megan Fox ;D
Glad to hear Harry Brown is good, I have seen the trailers and I want to see it soonish, never seen a Michael Caine film, but he is supposed to be an amazing actor.

Indeed *shudders*
Just joking
What really pisses me off is how most of her photos don't show it. It's nothing to be ashamed of and it's actually a nice reminder that even the most beautiful people aren't perfect. Although I heard she's a gamer :P

Toy Story 1 & 2 - 9.5/10....These movies are still great. Glad I revisited them in the theater again and in 3D too. The 3D made it seem a little fresh and not too outdated. Seeing it on the big screen, I noticed little things I would have never seen before. Little details and such.
Law Abiding Citizen-10/10.....Had very little expectations for this movie. Thought it would be the normal hollywood drama/action borefest. But Gerard Butler and Jaimee Fox(sorry) were GREAT. Their acting was superb. They made me forget it was a movie. Oh, and some of the death scenes are brutal. And one is so unexpected, it made the audience shout out in suprise. We were all thinking about it 5 minutes after it happened!! Highly recommend this movie. Go watch it. If not now, then rent or buy it next year when it comes out in February

-Casino: 9.5/10 Great movie. Am I the only one who notices that in every Scorcese picture where both Deniro and Pesci appear, Pesci is screwing Deniro's wife? Anyway, great film, it's never been quite as good as Goodfellas but I'm rating it as itself, not comparing it. Anyway, it's one of the many great must-see Scorcese pictures. I highly recommend.
Fantastic Mr Fox is really really good, definitely a return to form for Wes Anderson. In no way a kids film but a great adaptation none the less. Highly recommend it. 8/10
Saw VI is not good however. I missed 3-5 but I don't think I lost out. Terrible acting, even worse script and cinematography that felt like a 90 minute trailer. Its not even scary anymore, just gratuitous. I'm sure dull-headed fuck nuggets will flock in their millions for it but it definitely proves the point that any film with a number higher than 3 in the title is going to be shit (apart from Star Wars obviously). 2/10
Starship Troopers - ♠ ♠ ♠ ♠ ˝ - I've always loved this film, the effects are just incredible, and for the year it was made (1997) effects like that were something of the future, shit, a lot of films these days can't even match up to the standard of Starship Troopers. Why do I love this film? Simple, Clancy Brown.
Starship Troopers 3: Merauder - ♠ ♠ ♠ - Okay, okay, so this is a bad movie, but, on the upside, Casper Van Dien came back as Johnny Rico. This may not be a good movie, but it's a damn sight better than the abomination that was "Hero of the Federation", that movie sucked so bad I wanted to gouge my own eyeballs out. So, Merauder, on acount of it having both Casper Van Dien and some of the old flavour form the first film, gets three spades.
Fucking awesome! If you liked the Hangover its great. It seems like the last couple of Will Ferrel movies, but it stars Jeremy Piven and is wayyyyyy better than the crap he has been putting out(Ferrel, not Piven). I laughed my ass off!
It's stupid and redundant but it was just great.

Drag Me To Hell - 8/10
I haven't seen any of the Evil Dead films, but if Raimi made them anything like this, I will have to see them for sure. Great film by the way, more of a thriller than a gorefest
-An American Werewolf In London: 10/10 One of those movies you can watch a million times and they never get old. One of the greatest horror-comedies of all time. It does a great job of being both a brilliantly spooky horror film, like the scene on the moors, in the Slaughtered Lamb, and the subway scene, but also succeeds as a hysterical comedy. Especially when David sees Jack and friends. Also Rick Baker did an excellent job on the makeup, especially seeing as the movie is almost thirty years old.
-Sweeney Todd: 10/10 Not a huge fan of musicals but definitely love this one. Another film you can watch many many times. I've seen it 5 or 6 times by now and am still surprised how well Depp sings. It's a very gothic expressionist film, and definitely a must see.
Cannibal Holocaust - 9/10 - Always been a fan of a good messed up movie. If you're not into extreme violence in movies then this probably isn't for you. This movie pushed the limits of extreme during it's time.

Brilliant Pixar film. Sad at the beginning, but so laugh-out-loud funny for the rest of the film. Good for adults and kids alike. Can't wait for the Blu-Ray !
District 13: Ultimatum - 7/10.
Some very good action scenes, but the story was a bit crap. I watched the English dubbed version and some of the accents are laughable, but didn't spoil it that much. Recommended for the action scenes if nothing else...
