Same issue as 2k7, servers are closed.

I believe you can still play multiplayer games, however the servers are down so they don't verify that you have played a game.
You can play online, but the victories/quits don't count for achievements anymore I lost 3hours with a friend on that for nuts...²

I believe at least one out of those two are online. To play online you have to be signed into LIVE and to be signed into LIVE you have to download the patch.

That is correct, they are online achievements so you have to have to get the update if you attempt to get those achievement.

I can confirm that this works as it is how I got it, so technically this can be removed from the list.

Also, Dog of War in Tom Clancy's EndWar should be added. Ubisoft has said that no future patches will be released and the Community Manager has confirmed that it is "likely" broken in the release version. Basically, anyone you see who has it probably hex edited their profile to get it. Quite a few people have met the conditions to earn it without receiving it, comments about it can be read here in the EndWar forum or in the Ubi forums if you need confirmation.

So I just finished the Burger Town level in MW2 and noticed that I hadn't got the Turistas achievements. Got the Tag Em and Bag Em, but not for finishing those levels. I knew I was playing on Veteran, but to make sure I went to the start menu and selected lower difficulty just to check. It asked me if I reall wanted to lower to HARDENED. Huh? What's the deal? Anybody else having problems?

I am one of the ten people in the world to not have MW2 so I can't help you. Is it weird that I am more excited about L4D2? If this has been a problem for anyone else, please post here....

In NBA unrivaled the achievement Lead The League is glitch because the leaderboard is not working and for the achievement you have to be Be #1 on any challenge leaderboard.So you can only have 150/200.
