This is sad, i mean if Rodgers had the protection... i think the Packers would be undefeated (and I'm a Bears fan!). I mean, look at the numbers he puts up each week and his passer ratings. He's definitley a candidated for MVP.... he should be MVP with those kind of numbers put together with all the sacks he has.

I completely agree. I am so bummed about the game earlier. My boy A-rodg constantly pressured again. It is just sad. I know some say he holds on to the ball to long at times (not to force turnovers) but that was def. not the case tonight. He couldn't even get an effective 3 step drop without being harassed. To think what he could be with a great O line is just scary.

At least you had a good day Bears won! For our division, the Vikes are pulling away though...

Man, the Eagles tore it up today! I'm really impressed with the entire gameplan. Totally outplayed the Giants. It's strange, a few weeks ago, we saw the Giants as the best team in the NFL, but now they look like a second tier NFC team.

DeSean Jackson jsut might be the most explosive player in the league. Granted his TD today was against busted coverage, he still got behind the secondary and made a play. McNabb bounced back and the play calling was pretty even. Overall solid win for this team.

Man, the Dallas game is gonna be epic.

Yea, i'm excited they won... but i'm not excited. I mean.... it was agains the browns, it's a free win (sorry browns fans). It was cool Forte got his groove on along with Wolfe and we got 5 turn overs... but last week really dissapointed me still.
I was really hoping for a Packers win tonite because i don't want the vikings to pull too far ahead that neither the pack or bears can catch up.
I'm hoping for a wild card.... i'm really hoping that they make a post season appearance this year.

I will say this season has been full of surprises how good the broncos are along with the saints and the vikings (woot). anyway i am glad detroit got that monkey off their back but I am amazed at how many one sided games we have had this year. It's like college football super giants playing little pee on teams 41-0 scores i mean common. Otherwise I am excited for this season.

my superbowl picks:

Indy/New England vs. Minnesota/New Orleans

I'm torn on who to choose but i feel that either of these teams will be able to make it all the way.

Hell yeah. The Rams won their first game of the season and snapping their 17 game losing streak.

Also, congrats to the Titans for winning their first game as well.

I'm an Eagles fan and a Favre lover and I think it was pathetic how bad their fans were today. Get a fucking life you bunch of cry babies. He devoted 17 fucking years to your team and wanted to play with you more and Ted Thompson told him no. Not to mention Ted Thompson NOT getting Randy Moss when he could have, no doubt had he gotten Randy Moss that year they win the Super Bowl over the Pats. And you are gonna boo him the entire game? Pathetic. What a terrible classless group of fans. I saw some nice fans who still cheered him on but that was pathetic and Favre fed off that bullshit and whooped that ass. Good for him. Like, wow, I couldn't believe it.

KSizzle, you a good dude and I'm not talkign about you lol. Rodgers is a beast and had his O line not sucked so bad they win that game.

Yeah I was one of the few. Not necessarily cheering him because I wanted the Packers to win the game but not booing him either. I couldn't believe the reaction was that harsh. Like I said I have never forgotten what he has done for my team. As much as I wanted to, out of hatred for the Vikings, I couldn't boo him.

I also agree with everything you said about Ted Thompson. I know I wanted Moss bad that year and he didn't even try hard to get him. New England got him on a steal (what was it like a 2nd round draft pick?). What also got me about the booing was the fact that they didn't stop to think that GB didn't want him, not the other way around. He was willing to continue to play for the Packers. Either way, I like Aaron Rodgers alot. He had no part in the drama. He simply came there to do his job and perform at a high level. If he gets an O-line, watch out.

Anyone else notice Aaron Rogers limping a little bit? hes gotta start throwing out of bounce, before he gets sersiouly hurt. Stupid penalty's once again kill the Packers. Come on Jolly did you really need to headbutt someone half you size?

Brett looked great no ints ,4 tds, and another record. But I would give MVP of the game to Vikings Special teams, every kick they put the Vikings in good postion to score.( Minus the fumble, come on big guy just fall on the ball don't be a hero. haha)

The whole GB situation I feel so bad for AR he's a good quaterback and can become a great quaterback but the shit he is dealing with is so unfair.

Maybe he'll make his injury seem more severe......

Ok, maybe not. I don't want they guy hurt, cause I like him as a person. But as a player, he needs to take a seat on the bench, right next to the third stringers.

OMG!
I'm so freaking pissed off. Normally i'm happy that the bears win.... but my fantasy opponent got 26 points with their defense and now i'm down by 15 points.... 95-110.
Shoot Brees, pass to Colston for some TD's and Ryan, pass to Gonzalez for some TD's!!

Yes, I have also seen third-stringers play, like Brooks bollinger played for the Cowboys last year. I do think he better get his ass in gear if he wants to play football next year though.

I agree with Saiyu. Jake's passer rating this year is like 58. That's bad. Real bad. He should not be starting. He had magic at one point, but it seems to be completely gone.

Ughh, i need help... kind of a difficult decision for me to make.
Start Tony Romo against the Eagles or Big Ben against the Broncos?
Also, Whose looking better... Heath Miller or Tony Gonzalez? I mean, Miller's going against the Broncos.. but Tony might have a big game against the Redskins.

I would start Gonzo for godsakes they are taking on the redskins who I think are worse than Detroit. I would start also Big Ben over Romo who has been to sparatic. Big Ben has been consistent for the most part, even though he is sack prone now for some reason. If it wasn't for their running game Dallas would be laughable (which they are either way.) Cause if the Eagles play like they did last week Dallas won't stand a chance. To many premadonnas.

Thanks... that's what i was thinking about doing.... I was on the edge about the eagles because of that Raiders game (can't get it out of my head... i mean... COME ON!).
But Ben's going over Romo... plus i agree with the Redskins statement... i mean, they had to go against like 7 winless teams before going against one with wins. Gonzo should have a good day.
Also, i have Desean Jackson and Miles Austin.... hoping for a good day for both i hope!

I'm non biased about the Eagles/Cowboy game and I went with Philly for my work pool. Could turn out to be a decent game but I took Philly. Mainly because they are at home and they are playing at an extremely high level after the blowout of another division rival last week. I think the Cowboy's secondary will struggle against the weapons Donovan has. Also, isn't Westbrook back after that concussion he suffered against the skins?

Also, Scrubs don't you have Rodgers? I look for a big weak against Tampa out of him. Of course I only want the win but I see him putting up big numbers against a horrid Tampa defense.

Well yea, i'm afraid of another beat down like last week (against the Giants, i had there defense) and last year (man.... that was a beat down). I think i'll be safer with Big Ben.... like it was said before.. he's consistent.
I have Aaron Rodgers.... but on another fantasy team. On this one i have Big Ben and Tony Romo... on the other one i have Rodgers and Brees. I gave up on the other one after losing 4 in a row.

Brooks was more of a second-stringer, but I get your point. I still stand by mine, though.

Well... bears got beat down again... sigh.
But damn, come on Packers.... i thought that your defense could handle the winless bucs!
Man, i'm getting killed in fantasy now like 70 to like 12 (only had two play in the morning, Tony with like 10 points and GB 2 points).

Yeah, that was pretty pathetic by my Packers! I am beyond angry with them right now. Again, Rodgers was sacked like 6 times but what else is new? I will give credit to Tampa's rookie qb...He played a hell of a game. They should have started this kid since the beginning of the season.

Watching the Saints game now. Carolina is out to a quick 14-0 lead.

Watching the Saints game now. Carolina is out to a quick 14-0 lead.
WTF is going on?!?
Saints down by 14, lions up by 14, and the hapless Bucs won a game against a formidable team?!
Man..... my head hurts.
They should have started Josh Freeman though... that was a really good game that he had there.
3 tds.... man, good start for the rookie.

Yeah an odd day to say the least, lol. As I am typing this Carolina just picked off Brees and almost took it to the house. My work pool of picks wasn't very good today but believe it or not I took Carolina. I figured the saints have to lose one right? I had GB and Chicago in the early games and lost them. I also have Seattle and they are down to Detroit. I took Philly in the night one, so we'll see what happens there. Odd day indeed...
