Well I can almost put my life on it that you will have to find a bunch of stuff around the city... Im also thinkig that story missions will be included amongst the achievments

They could have all sorts, but as you said collecting stuff will probably make up at least one if not a few achievements. Seeing as collecting hidden packages in the old games gave you weapons at intervals of around 10, may there will be achievements for finding one, half and then all of the packages.

Story completion ones will probably make up a few, side missions and that sort of thing may have their own. I'd like to see a 0 pointer for activating a cheat, and to stop people using cheats to beat the game maybe they deactivate cut scenes and the cut scenes activate the achievements. Therefore cheats = no cutscenes = no achievements.

There is so much potential for crazy achievements, they had better not crap out and put in 5 for pointless things.

As said looking for hidden items around the city would be one ach. Stealing so many cars would be another i think, kill so many ppl may be another, if like the last GTA get a high score in the mini game would be another. Also have so many saafe houses could be another, Maybe they might have stunt achs long jumps etc. Thats all i can think of atm.

i think there could be stuff like drive so many miles run do many miles howevever i think they will be more along the lines of steel so many cars kill so many people and ofc stuff for completing the campain

Like on Just Cause, i think there will be achievements like kill 100 people and destory 100 vehicles etc.

lol...that achievement was crazy...i spent like 4hours looking for my last 2...and one was 10 feet off the ground..and the other was across from a supply point...so yeahhopefully there is no 100% completion...that would take FOREVER..but also not too many easy achievements...

On-topic, They will have the find 100 <insert object here>, complete the game, money achievements, killing achievements and side job achievements.

I think that GTA4 should be the first game to have 2000Gamerscore

It would make the game last longer than it will cause we all know it will be MASSIVE!

I don't think the game length will be short especially with the two download episodic content coming out although im sure we all want this game to last even longer because its gonna be that good.

Im sure it will also use the maximum amount of gamerscore if thats still 1250 by then and by the downloading content.

Obviously someone just making up achievements based on San Andreas.

I'm pretty sure they already confirmed there will be no jetpack and not nearly as much, if any, character customization.

i think they said something about having even more character customisation options but i dont think they'll have the jet pack.

i hope they have stats again, there could be achievements for achieve full muscle stats etc.

I predict maybe about 400 points will come from just going through the story...100 points or so of collecting stuff and then a lot of miscellaneous stuff around the city similar to saints row's activities...there will probably be a list to get a bunch of cars and other things like that...all in all i think it should have great achievements.

i dont know where to put this question so ill just put it here.......my buddy at work is interested in this game....he was asking me if i thought there would be online play....such as rival gangs. i guess like guilds in WoW or clan matches in halo 2.....does anyone here have an idea?

thanks, sorry for my poor grammar, i was kinda tired when i typed that out last night. i guess we will know more as this game gets closer to its actual release.
