I am so annoyed right now!!! HELP ME PLEASE!

Ok, here is my situation.

I have been collecting every little tiny piece of treasure throughout the entire game! I am on the 4th disc, and have put in 95+ hours of work into this game.

The Angel Guard, which I got from the Forbidden Cave, is meant to be an accessory that I can give to my immortals and make them learn the skill. Therefore, I can get the skill master achievement.

However, for some odd reason, whenever I try to equip it, it doesn't show up in the list of equipable items! I know I defiantly have it, because if I go to my items menu, it is right there. It isn't available in my equip menu though...

I am so pissed off at this, because after all the work I have put into this game, I am suddenly falling flat on my face! I DO NOT WANT TO HAVE TO START OVER, ESPECIALLY IF IT IS JUST A GLITCH I CAN'T EVEN FIX!!!

Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm at the end of my rope <_<
