Street Fighter II without a doubt. The $70 price tag was hefty for any game at the time but it was worth it. I also liked the Super Star Wars series. They were the first worthwhile games for the series in quite a while.

My favorite NES game would have to be Kirby Superr Star. I loved playing it all day with my Brother until we beat 8-10 hours later. I still sometimes play it.
My two favourites I guess as I still play them would be UN Squadron and Super Probotector - UK not US as that didn't have the bad ass robots! Amazing 2 player games with great tunes to boot!
Definitely:
The Legend of Zelda: a link to the past
Super Mario World
Super Mario Kart
Donkey Kong Country
The Lion King (I loved that game )
Street Fighter
My favorites:
Secret of Mana (for me the best Rpg)
Super Star Wars Saga
NBA jam
All Mario Games
Lion king (one of my favorite movie Game)
all Kirby Games
WWF(WWE) Raw
The Legend of Zelda: A link to the past
Donkey Kong Country 1-3
Power Rangers
I still play them sometimes on a emulator

Super Mario Karts. By far. Awesome races, time trials, championships, battle mode, co-op, everything! Some of my greatest gaming fun was had playing with my brother on the old SNES. Good times and great fun.
UN Squadron and Populous are at the top of my list.
UN Squadron is a great game, but frustrated the crap outta me!
My favorite SNES game is probably Zelda: Link to the Past or SMB: Search for the 7 Stars. I have played both of those games more times than I can remember.

Hadn't checked this thread back in a while. Glad to see more fans of Secret of Mana (and even one who's played Seiken Densetsu 3, at that!) Only one person on Xbox Live has ever recognized my gamertag as being from Secret of Mana and mentioned it to me. Probably because it wasn't even that great of a spell anyway, haha.
My hard drive is named "Earth Slide," my small memory unit is "Cure Water," and my 500MB memory unit is "Gem Missile." Just figured I'd keep up with the Mana spell pattern.
