I'm getting really frustrated with this part. When it gets to the "Use BIG GUN with WATER TANK" part it restarts the section. Nothing I do works. Any help here?

You will have to go through this section twice, which is the reason it restarts when you use Big Gun with Water Tank. On the second run the Lunar Lander will have landed. You can now use the saw on it, and then finish the game by using the ignition key with the Lunar Lander while Bliss is trapped in the water tank.

Sorry for the delay on this, but I've just confirmed that you have to show the UNICORN a total of 11 times to the 10 characters, giving you the prerequisite 10 comments. LINCOLN counts as a comment, but SUPERBALL counts as a show but not a comment. This is probably what TellTale meant when they said that this achievement was "harder than you think".

The characters & situations are confirmed as;

HARRY THE MOLEMAN
AGENT SUPERBALL (before cooking the UNICORN in the MICROWAVE)
JIMMY TWO-TEETH (while on the BENT METER)

So I just finished episode three and I used your walkthrough for two parts that confused me. Even after beating it I still don't understand why I did what I did for the ace of spades on the clown nose. Does the other guy have a camera/mirror or something there?

When examining the clown nose, Sam mentions that it is shiny. Watch Leonard when you're playing Indian Poker... he looks up at the clown nose to see his reflection, which also shows him which card he has on his head. In short, he cheats!
When Sam puts the ace of spades on the clown nose, Leonard believes he has the highest card, despite actually having the four of hearts! As Sam as a ten, he beats Leonard's unbeaten (cheat) streak!


I did warn people that confusion would arise if using my walkthrough alone, as it is the quickest solution to each episode and you'll miss most of the story driving dialogue.
It is the price you pay for being handed 200GP on a plate, I guess.

Well I don't think anyone is going to pay 1600 for a guaranteed 200 points. I was stuck in the Casino so I looked at the guide. I guess my problem was not paying enough attention to detail. Although I do feel it's not a blatantly obvious solution even after seeing it fully explained.

Welcome to the wonderful world of adventures! Think yourself lucky you're not playing any GABRIEL KNIGHT adventures; these games were famous for their stupidly tenuous puzzle solutions. At least Sam & Max has vaguely logical solutions... even if this one is a little more lateral, than logical.

Im on episode 5. And have followed your excellent guide word for word. But at the battle with Auntie Bionic, i use the jack in a box and get defeated. It doesnt give me the option to attck with the +2 sword. This is the 2nd time i have tried this episode.

I had the same problem, you have to make sure you turn the popups back on.. (by clicking on the most right computer in the control room in the green tube)

Yes, you missed this section out;


Use VIRTUAL REALITY GOGGLES.
Examine RAT HOLE.
Open VIRTUAL OFFICE DOOR.

Open CONTROL ROOM.
Get COMPUTER BUG.
Examine CONTROL COMPUTER. (CHIPPY) (Rightmost computer, in the green tube)
Open EXIT DOOR.

Talk to INTERNET WIZARD. (HUGH BLISS, left of VIRTUAL BOSCO'S)
- SAM; "How about a magic trick?"
- SAM; "See you later."
Open VIRTUAL BOSCO'S.


I have edited the walkthrough so this is a little clearer.
