what is best method for high score?

all,

i have been trying for x hours (you don't want to know) to get a shell in a level that needs 60,000 points, i can only get 50 MAX.

question is, what is the best method foir a high score in this game? forget the gates and just trick trick trick, or do i need to pick up gates to help etc?

any help (for this kids game DOH!! ) would be very much apreciated!!#

To get high scores try to pick up the multipliers. You might also want to change your board to one that holds the Y bonus time for longer as the default board just doesn't cut it once u get further into the game.

big grinds get 3x mutiplyers try and land big tricks onto rails come off and do another

A character and board with the best stroke you have available. All I did was B button, Y button and if I was near a multiplayer when I had stroke thing I got it then used stroke. Helps alot when you get 3-5x a stroke move.

Try and get the multiplyers especially the fives. stick to the wave jumping and then holding a grab (x) to get 900ish then as soon as you get the Y button use it on your next jump. If you're on the level with the bashy penguin don't worry to much about the multiplyers but if you can get them landing a jump they're worth going for.

Oooh and make sure you press Y in tubes for those tricks

yes as the guy above me says - holding down X is an excellent way to get 1000 per single trick, then when you do your Y trick end it with a prolonged X.

I have found the easiest thing by far to do is,

DONT use any speed boost & Save the Yellow Bar on the left untill "STOKE" mode is ready, as long as you land a Stoke move you'l continually refill the gauge with more & keep on Stoking! They are worth 3,000 a pop, 6,000 if u can pull off 2 at a time!!....


I use this method on Every map & can get 75,000+ pretty much on demand

I'd say build you power meter up so you can go into stoke mode and try and get a multiplyer before pressing y then just make sure you land your trick. Even when doing grab or spin tricks just make sure you always land them.
