Help?
I've read through all these posts and a few other sites too, I still suck. I love card games like these and real card games, and I am usually pretty good, but I just can't get anywhere in this game, I have yet to beat the first map, I've tried about 15 times now.
Maybe my deck is just built completely wrong? I have 12 yellow creatures, 9 blue, and 5 neutral, 4 weapons 6 armors,13 spells, and 1 scroll Is it just a mater of time till I get better cards? Any tips would be appreciated. |

Until you get good cards the AI will kill you. Best way to get cards is to boost the MP first. This will give you lots of cards and lots of achievements. If you can't find someone with which to boost, just keep playing the first level over until you get enough cards.
Your deck is called a rainbow deck (At leat in MtG thats what it is called). While it may look like you have lots of good creatures, they don't support each other as well as creatures of the same color. Your creatures get stronger with the more creatures of the same color you have on the board. Reduce your deck down to 1-2 colors, keep creatures about 50% and split the other two 25% each. As you get better cards you can alter this forumula to your own style. Last edited by Keytta; 02-20-2009 at 02:18 PM. |

Thanks for the tips, they have helped already, I reworked my deck a little, and I won a few maps in a row. I'm not really interested in MP boosting, not saying I wont play MP but there's some real time intense achievements, I'll probably skip them.

Even once you start winning, you should still go back and replay the levels. The later levels ramp up the difficulty and the only way you are going to make it pass them is with a good selection of cards.
