Going to go ahead and make an assumption here...Editorials are to be only written by site administrators, or is that incorrect? Here's hoping for a comment with these words:

"Jon, AKA JCrizzle 22...We love you, we love your writing style. We don't mind that you've just now registered at our site since you've been using us unidentified since February of last year. We were hoping you'd ask us to write some editorials for the site, because we know how much free time you have."

A better approach might be to write an editorial and send it in to submit@xbox360achievements.org. That let's the admins get a solid idea of your writing style, level of research done, etc., plus shows them you are serious and willing to make a commitment of time and energy without any promises from them. That level of initiative and a good topic, and you may be pleasantly surprised.

Then again, I don't work here...

I might be interested in writing something, is there anything specific you would be looking for? I do all the comic reviews for stashmycomics.com (though I haven't done any in a few months because I got married, honeymooned and got her pregnant... I'm planning on starting up again next week though), you can read those here if anyone is interested.

Anyone is more than welcome to write reviews on games etc, please speak to an Admin or Super-Mod about it if your interested.

Editorials are an Admin perk tho
