HELP: Missing 3 surf idols

I'm missing 1 from each of the following location:
- Volcano 1
- Pen-Gu South 2
- Pen-Gu South 4

Are there any tough to see idols that you guys remember?

If I remember correctly, at the very end of Volcano one there is this big ramp you can go on the right of, once you go up it, swerve to the left and there is a surf idol on a 2nd branch ramp to the left of the original one you went up. This is either Volcano 1 or 2.

On Pen Gu south 4, there is one that I was trying to find for a while.

The one i had missed was underneath the LOOOOONG grind pole near the end of the level.

The one I had trouble with on Volcano 1 was about 3/4 into the level, there will be a little rock formation blocking your way with a ramp on it, and a purple shell on top of that ramp, behind that ramp underneath it will be the 6th Idol (I think that was the correct location). If that wasn't it, try the next big rock formation, on the left. The best way to get to it is to make sure you have plenty of turbo then go up the wave and jump over the rock formation on the left, then land on or around the idol below.

For all those missing idols:

In the absence of anything resembling a guide, map or FAQ, simply saying that you're missing idols on certain levels doesn't provide enough info for those you are asking.

Look each level over from top to bottom for idols. If your surfer is capable of going someplace, chances are something might be found there.

It's probably best to use your first 1-3 runs through a level only searching for surf idols, since you know exactly how to get everything else. If you spot an idol on a run but aren't able to get it, go right back and get it the next run. Don't leave any behind if you know their location; going back and getting them later can really suck, trust me.

i was haveing trouble with this one Pen Gu south 4 near the end of the level it quite hard to get because it is right behind the wood thing

make sure you've taken every rail and bashed every wood. And also that you've done a run through not going over things but going under and around them.
