How to complete a level

OK.. I'm at the end of level 1. There is pentacle on the floor. After stepping on it I go into a room that is pitch black and all hell breaks loose. How the hell do I get past this?

That's it! You've done it, select the next episode from the main menu to carry on with the game.

Cool.. Thanks for that. I thought there was some sort of switch I had to hit to continue.
