Kombat Kodes can be entered on the versus screen right before a fight.
The numbers in the Kode represent how many times that button needs to be pushed

Legend: (For the XBox 360 Controller)

The first three numbers are entered on the player 1 controller while the final 3 are entered on the player 2 controller.

The symbols you get depending on how many times you hit the corresponding button:

5 Lighning Bolt
6 Goro
7 Raiden
8 Shao Kahn
9 Skull

Now onto the KODES:

The "Lost Treasure of Shao Kahn" can be accessed after beating the game, or after an 8 player tournament. The prizes you choose from depends on what difficulty you beat the game on.

Novice Selections
1) Dragon - Character's Ending, this is the only way you get to see this!
2) MK Logo - Play Galaga
3) Yin Yang - Battle With Ermac
4) 3 Logo - Battle With Noob Saibot

Warrior Selections
5) ? Mark - Random Selection
6) L. Bolt - Fatality Demostration #1: shows 1 fatal for the old characters.
7) Goro - Fatality Demostration #2: shows 1 fatal for the old characters.
8) Raiden - Fatality Demostration #3: shows 1 fatal for the new characters.
9) Shao Kahn - Noob/Ermac Endurance: What it says

Master Selections
10) Skull - Classic Sub-Zero/Noob Endurance: What it says
11) ? Mark #2 - Mega Endurance: Fight with Noob Saibot, Ermac, Human Smoke, Classic Sub-Zero, and Mileena

Master #II
12) ? Mark #3 - Supreme Demonstration:
It shows you all the fatals: except Classic Sub-Zero, and all
the Babalites, Friendships, and Animals: except Ermac and Classic S-Z

Do you have to put the codes in every time for Mileena, Ermac and Classic Sub Zero or does it save after you do it once?

yeah you need 2 controllers unfortunately
unless someone knows a loophole...

ok. Those first set of codes to face noob saibot. Where do I enter those at?

Do you need two profiles on the system or something? It keeps going to the sign in xbox live screen whenever I have a second controller hooked up.

...okay i quit playing before, and came back - all my secret characters were still there...

this time when i came back, they were gone

i think when you turn your console off or sign out of your profile after unlocking the characters, you lose your characters.

So I put the kodes in and get the characters this morning. They work fine all day. Then i shut the system off go eat dinner yadda yadda., Come back and theyre all gone, and my screen size is small again. So i put the codes in and shut the system off... same thing. How come previously I had reset and shut off the system and the characters were still there but now they keep dissapearing... i usually leave via the return to arcade option in UMK3... any help!

nope... cuz you only fight him for 1 round (plus they make him 10x easier in that fight)

If you play the single player game, just get a game over and dont continue. youll be able to enter the codes there. no other way to unlock them, you have to use the codes. and you need 2 controllers to enter these codes.

how bout on unlocking the characters. How long do you have to do those? It would be pretty hard to do it on 2 controllers at the same time.

Wasn't there also a kode for One Button Fatalities? Could have sworn there was, so I'm not sure if I overlooked it or if they just didn't include it.
