Ok first of healing items you can only carry 3 Herb of Spiritual Life that gives you a small amount of HP and 3 Grain of Spiritual Life that gives you moderate HP back. So here is what you do the Item Lives of The Thousand Gods makes your HP bar bigger but is also will fill you HP to full when you use it so I recommend holding the use of this for items for as long as you can and better to hold them to the end of the game because you will need them and same goes for Life of the Gods every 9 does the same as Lives of The Thousand Gods so save them too all you have to do is if you are in a hard battle pause the game to the item menu and use it and you get full HP. As for Ki the problem with Devil Way Mushroom is that it will only give you 1 Ki each but when you get Spirit of the Devils save it because yes it will give you 1 extra Ki to your max Ki but it will fill up you Ki at the same time. And Last Talisman of Rebirth every one knows what this does but if you are going to use it make sure when you are about to die you all you Ki first because it will give you back all you HP and Ki. I finished the game today on Way of the Warrior and when I got to the last level I had 4 Lives of The Thousand Gods, 9 Life of the Gods that makes 1 Lives of The Thousand Gods and 2 Spirit of the Devils.

Now last tip battle and saving you upgrade and shop points. As for battle the best weapon for people new to Ninja Gaiden would be the Dragon Sword to try to up grade this as fast as you can because for newbie’s this will be you best weapon the best attack would be the (forgot the same of the Attack) Jump and then press forward + Y will do an Air Dash that will in most cases take you enemies head off and at level 3 you can do it 3 times before you land of the ground and works on 90% of all monsters in the game and on all Ninjas so try it. As for upgrade and shop points don’t go upgrading every weapon you get try a weapon out and see it you like it if not leave it and same your points to buy life items when you need them for Boss Battles.
