This thread will also list games that have been started but need additional work before they can be published (See post #2)

A quick question, I looked at the Persona 4 Arena Guide and roadmap. It is one of the best achievement guides I have personally seen. Why isn't it up to the site's standards?

Well, the road map isn't up to the site's standards because of the fact that the author list out the achievements that would be won in each step. From my point of view, that just shows laziness and makes the road map look unprofessional. As for the guide itself, it's probably because of the fact that it uses custom images for describing the descriptions. I know its a fighting game, but if a guide uses custom images, it's hard for the Guide Team to publish it.

Also, since the user is a banned member, that also may come into play.

Are you serious? Many guides do this, it provides the user a breakdown on what they expect to achieve during each step. Thus in a game with many modes they'll know what achievements belong to each respective mode. I know this is your opinion but many guides do this, including my own, and they have never been rejected.

The guide key is in the roadmap, it is easy to replace the custom images with X360A's buttons. Just because it is hard to publish doesn't mean it is not up to the standards of the site anyway. Either way, from the looks of it, the submit forum for guides isn't as crowded these days. So it could easily be possible for you or another member to simply replace the custom images. I would happily do this if it is too much of a hassle.

I understand this. But read this hypothetical situation:

Member A writes a high-quality guide. They receive a permanent ban, and therefore it is a reason why their guide is not published.

Member B writes a high-quality guide, their guide is published, but shortly after, they receive a permanent ban. Yet their guide remains on the site as published.

From this situation, where is the logic behind it?

I'm only asking this because I don't want a good guide to go to waste. It's for the better of the site IMO, so if there's anything I can do to change your mind tell me.

DEG, I would like to lend a hand with Way of the Samurai 3 Roadmap but it would be difficult to make one without having a guide to match it. So the question is, should I just make my own AG along with it or should I try my best to make it coincide with the guide already placed on the main site?

I checked the forums for Persona 4 Arena and there's already a guide and roadmap there. Has that one not been reported yet or did you forget to take it off your list?
