Contractions... randomly ending?

Is there a time limit or something on this BS? I was using the solo strategy to get my 30 crates. I got to wave 8, had 22 crates and was looking for the last 2 for the wave with one enemy left. Out of NOWHERE the game ended. I was in the mech and it had full health. The enemy was taking random potshots at me but I didn't think he could one-shot me at all..... WTF?

I'm guessing that you got unlucky and got hit by Alma. She can pick you right out of the mech and if I remember correctly down you as well.

When you are alone and no one can revive you the game will end straight away. Too bad as you almost had the achievement done and over with.

WTF? __________________ Only person AFAIK to land exactly on 200,000/200,000 gs, WITH exactly 200 games played, with 100% completion including all DLC. 11-13-11. 200th game: Brink. Final achieve: Ark King. Most recent milestone: landed exactly on 10,000/10,000 achievements won with 100% completion including all DLC. 3-29-13. Final achieve: Aperture Science in The Orange Box. 100% completion on every game played, no hacks, gamesaving, or mods. Legit completion is the ONLY completion worth aiming for.
