What Order?

Hello

About a year ago I completed DA1. But I got Awakening's but never played it. But now I want to...

Am I right in saying to start the DLC/Addons you go to new game from the main menu?

But in what order should they be played?

Awakening
The Darkspawn Chronicles
Lelianas's Song
The Golems Of Amgarrak
Witch Hunt

Is that the Correct order?

Thank you

Witch Hunt is the final DLC, chronologically. Leliana's song is a prequel. Golems of Amgarrak supposedly takes place after the mission in Orzammar, but before the final battle. Dark Spawn Chronicles never really happened (alternate universe, maybe? I dunno)

I thought Golems of Amgarrak takes place after Awakening, since you get a letter from the Seneschal at Vigil's Keep and already are "the" Warden that defeated the archdemon. Then again, I played "Golems" after Awakening so maybe certain things are changed to fit into the storyline.

Anyways, they are meant to be played in this order:
Awakening --> Golems of Amgarrak --> Witch Hunt

Leliana's Song, as stated by Steam Commissar, is a prequel, best be played during vanilla Origins, since it unlocks a nice piece of rogue armor.
Darkspawn Chronicles can be played at any time, since it's basically a "what if"-scenario. You unlock a decent sword for the main game and the other DLCs after its completion, though.

I'd have to disagree with this. As much as people say Darkspawn can be played at any time, it still takes place as a "what if" during the events of the ending to the main story.

Darkspawn shows every single location leading up to the final scene in the main game. I think it should be played after beating the main story.

Origins (Stone Prisoner, Warden's Keep, Return to Ostagar, Leliana's Song) > Darkspawn Chronicles > Awakening > Golems of Amgarrak > Witch Hunt

Hm, I have to say you're right. It should be played after finishing Origins.

"Golems" takes place after the main game. I forget if it takes place before or after Awakening though.

I just finished Awakening this evening and started on Golems. I didn't get any mention of Vigil's Keep or the Archdemon. Regardless, I'm going to say that you are correct, sir.
