Kinect Fun Labs: I Am Super!

Overview:

- Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 2 (One solo-playthrough and one with a partner)

- Extra Equipment Needed? Kinect Sensor and another person

Introduction:
Harness your super powers! Flame, Frost, Atomic, or Storm. Pick a favorite, charge it, and then blast objects around you!


Step-One:
Your first step will be to create a hero by selecting a power theme (Origins), next you will rename your character (Secret Identity). Now perform one of the power movements (Great Responsibility). Extend your arm to your side (Guide Gesture) to open the pause menu and select Record Video, select Yes when asked if you wish to share on your friends feed and on KinectShare.com (The Secret's Out! and Global Hero). Finally, extend your arm to your side to open the pause menu and select Home. Use each of the remaining power themes (Alter Egos).

Step-Two:
Have another person join you. Player 2 performs a main attack while Player 1 performs a secondary attack (The Underdog).


Single-Player (Offline) Achievements (6):

Origins - 5
Create a Hero

Select Play and choose one of the four power themes.

Secret Identity - 5
Rename a hero

After choosing a power theme, select Edit Name and change your characters name.

*Note: You must use a controller to enter a new name.

Share with friends

See "Global Hero".

Extend your arm to your side (Guide Gesture) to open the pause menu and select Record Video. Record a 15-second video and once the video has been processed, select Yes when asked if you wish to share your video as well as when asked if you wish to upload your video to KinectShare.com.

*Note: Kinect Fun Labs games are notorious for lagging out while uploading videos/photos, and this game is no different. If your first attempt to share a video does not work, just keep trying and it should eventually work and the Achievement will unlock.

Alter Egos - 10
Use all 4 power themes

The Power Themes are Storm, Atomic, Frost and Flame. Simply use each theme at least once.

*Note: Extend your arm to your side (Guide Gesture) to open the pause menu, select Home to return to the Main Menu where you can select a new power theme.

Great Responsibility - 10
Use your powers on an object in the play space

Select one of the four powers, and simply perform one of the power movements and the Achievement should unlock.


Multi-Player (Offline) Achievements (1):

The Underdog - 10
Disrupt all 4 main powers during multiplayer (primary player rewarded)

The description is a little confusing, but it seems the method below will unlock the Achievement.

Player 1: Main Profile (Achievement)
Player 2: Guest

Player 2: Perform the main (top) attack by throwing arms up.
Player 1: Disrupt the attack with the secondary (bottom) attack (Easily done with Frost or Storm).



*Note: Player 1 (Main Profile) does not need to change power themes, only Player 2 (Guest) needs to change power themes. Once Player 1 (Main Profile) disrupts all 4 power themes, the Achievement will unlock.

Thanks for the guide but your advice on for the Underdog acheivement sucks. Been at this shit for nearly 15 minutes with a friend and acheivement never popped. I'm heading over to TrueAcheivements.com. Hopefully someone has a different and better method over there.

Im starting to hate kinect. That underdog achievement really pushed me to the edge, frustrating as hell mainly because it should be so easy and it just wont recognise my gestures. Done it now but flailing my arms around like a mad man just to get my moves recognized for 20 mins is not my idea of fun.
