Achievement Guide (quick and easy version)

When the game begins you are given the assignment to go meet a snitch. He tells you about Juan Garcia Cruz and gives you an address to go to. He warns you "he likes guns."

Go to Juan's house, a cut scene starts with him shooting at you. Stay low and move to the left and around the fence. Go towards the back and jump the fence.

Go in the back door and Juan will start coming at you as you get more inside. Shoot him.

Achievement Unlocked: Forcible Rear Entry

Either you or Roy will kill the other guy. Search Juan's pockets. In one is his wallet with ID and the other has a silver dollar with a couple of letters on it.

Next go to the bedroom and find the flyer. (Thanks to Leeloo for the correction, I was typing from memory). This will tell you about 20th Century Market. Don't leave yet.

Go out the back door and to the shed. On the shelves is some cans. There is one light colored can on the second shelf. Pull it and it opens a secret door. (For a funny comment from Roy, pick up the yellow can next to it).

Enter the secret room and go straight to the shelves by the can opener. Open the two cans using the can opener.

Achievement Unlocked: Soup In The Pot

Go to the desk and look at the ledger. Point and click on a Tijuana name for the clue of "E.J".

Go to 20th Century Market.

Achievement Unlocked: High Flyer

After the cut scene you will chase one guy. If you are lucky enough you can tackle him by pressing "A" otherwise you will have to chase him on the roof and fight him.

Once you catch him, you get his ID and ask him questions. You find out his name is "Airto" and he has a silver coin.

Question #1 - Lie: Silver Coin
Question #2 - Doubt

Go to Parnell's Soup Company.

There will be a cut scene and then you have to raid the building. There will be about 8-10 guys to kill. Once you kill them all, go through the set of doors on the left to a small office. Another cut scene will happen.

Search the body, find a coin in his left hand. Go out of the office and open a box with the reefer in it. A cop will ask you about "Cruz". Follow him upstairs and find another body with a wad of cash in his hand. In his pocket will also be another coin.

Another cut scene takes you back downstairs and you have 5 coins now. Put them in the order of MAS ANG KAY MET ALS

Achievement Unlocked: Spare A Dime

Go to Masangkay Metals

When you get there, you have to go around back. In the ally you will see an orange drain pipe to climb. Go up that then to the right and down the other pipe. Go around back. Three guys are at a table, they will spot you and start shooting. There are about 4 to kill here. Head to the front and up the stairs. Go through the door, another guy will start shooting on your right, kill him and keep pressing forward. There are about 4 more guys to kill until you get to an office to arrest the leader.

Achievement Unlocked: Every Herb Bearing Seed

i followed this guide and did everything it said TWICE and both times only got 4 stars. it only says i got 12/13 clues but i did everything here. other than that i got 2/2 questions, $0 vehicle damage, $0 injuries, and $0 city damage

Yeah, I don't remember all the clues, sorry about that. I never found the 13th clue either though. Hence, "The Quick and Easy Version". Sorry.

Great guide! For my 1st playthru' without the guide, managed to get the last 2 achevos. As I continue playin', kept asking myself why the achevos aint popping like in Nicholson, haha.

not to be a dick, but did you even read the thread title? its called an achievement guide, not a walkthrough...

if you are looking for a walkthrough, there are 2 already up (one of which done by me) that will provide that information you seek.

Also, the reason why you only got 12/13 clues was probably from following this -achievement guide- and if you do you miss out on a clue and questions by not going to parnell's soup factory before 20th century market.

Your guides are great II OE II, I just created this for those that don't care if they only get 1* or 5* on the game, since the only real thing to do for this is get the achievements. I finished with 4*, was happy and sent the game back.

I have to say I used all your guides for the game, and they worked like a champ. Great job.

Thanks man, didn't even take 25 minutes. Sad, the best case was the last one. This kinda felt like the worst (game wise, not achievements ;P)
