Achievement Guide and Road Map

I hope my guide isn't that bad and will help some of you
Note: I am German, so please don’t be too harsh about the language.

Note: Ankama Play announced that it has released a patch (May 27, 2011)

- Redesigned difficulty curve
- Two new difficulty levels, 4 options being now available:
· Easy/Goddess: Users cannot die
· Normal/Initiate: +25% shield, +25% damage
· Hard/Initiate: x2 level score
· Very hard/Initiate: x4 level score, no quick teleport
- The achievements now allow players to unlock exclusive content in the online game WAKFU MMORPG
- A tutorial to learn how to buy abilities
- Minor bugs fixed (including those related to the achievements)

Introduction
Islands of Wakfu is a very good Action-Adventure game with some RPG-Elements. This game has 12 achievements worth 200 . It costs 800 MSP on the Xbox live marketplace.

Step #1: Playtrough
At first choose the initiate mode on singleplayer. Just play through the story and collect as many as you can. There are two different collectables: The mysteries and the goddess tears. Note: You can’t collect all of the goddess tears in the first playtrough because some are hidden in caves and only platypus can enter them. After you defeated the final boss you should have the following 8 achievements: The Chosen One, Puff, Guardian, Botanist, Hater, Platypus, Who's who?, Historian, Achiever

Note: Please see guide below for more details on how to get Historian, Who's who?, Hater, Platypus, Puff, Botanist. They are not story related but you can get them during your first playthrough.


Step #2: “Optimize” + Goddess Tears
Now replay some levels and plant a lot of flowers to get honey and max out the skills you can buy at the shrines. I would recommend the 7th level. There are 6 flowers in this level and it is a very easy one. Note: I recommend maxing out the damage and the shield skill during your first playtrough. This makes it a lot easier to beat the game. Now replay the levels in which you missed some of the tears. If you purchased all of the skills and found all of the tears you will earn these achievements: Optimized, Worshipper


Step #3: Co-op
All you have to do is beat the boss of the third level in co-op-mode. Shouldn’t be too difficult. This will give you the last achievement: Two's a crowd

Achievements (in the order you should earn them):

The Chosen One – 5
First Veil passed.

This achievement is story-related and can't be missed. You should earn this after finishing the first level.

Puff – 10
30 enemies killed with exploding gel.

It is possible to get this achievement in the third level. You have to kill 30 enemies with the Wakfu-Gel (the blue orbs). Wait until an enemy is near a blue orb then choose your dragon and push LT.

If you wanna boost the achievement go to level 7:
"There's a constant supply of crabs at the beach while searching for the 5 clamp-sisters. Just attract 4 or 5 crabs. Then hover as dragon over the water (the crabs can't follow and will not attack) and kill on until a blue orb drops and push in your lifeforce (LT). As the crabs line up just right to be killed, you'll easily get the 30 kills here." Thanks to Quidac

Guardian – 15
You saved Zora.

This achievement is story-related and can't be missed. You will obtain this achievement in the level where you have to save the kids. Zora sits in a cell.

Hater – 5
You destroyed One Manolia.

Choose Nora and go to a flower which isn’t grown up. Push LT until the flower is destroyed.

Botanist – 10
Wakfu gel used to create 10 Manolias chalices.

To create a Manolia you need your platypus. You will get him in level 8. Now you can grab a blue orb and place it on a not grown up flower which is lying on the ground. Then choose your dragon and push LT to create a Manolia. Repeat 10 times and the achievement is yours.

Who's who? – 10
Secret identity of the Platypus uncovered.

To obtain this achievement you have to go in the 8th level where you get your platypus for the first time. After defeating the enemies in the village grab a blue orb with your platypus and go in the “mage’s” room. Place the orb at the end of the room beside the door. Choose your dragon and burst the door. Now take the girl and use the mirror. Move your cursor behind the window so you can shoot the two torches with a single shot (Switch to the dragon and use the mirror to shoot). A door will open and the achievement is yours.

Platypus – 10
10 Platypus nests found.

Just discover every level to find the caves only platypus can enter. Find 10 of them to earn this achievement. Note: Platypus is available from level 8 on.

Historian – 20
All of the Mysteries of Chibi's Herbarium found.

You have to find all mysteries in the game. A collectible guide can be found HERE. Thanks to Wynn

Achiever – 40
Met the Goddess at the End of Times. (Initiate mode only)

This achievement is story-related and can't be missed. The only thing you have to do is beat the game in initiate mode. After defeating the final boss this achievement should pop up.

Optimized – 35
All Dimensional Arts skills purchased.

You can buy art skills at the shrines in most of the levels. For creating Manolias you will earn honey. Use it to buy the skills. Just purchase all of them.

Worshipper – 35
Collect all Goddess Tears shed in the world.

You have to find all goddess tears in the game. A collectible guide can be found HERE. Thanks to Wynn

Two's a crowd – 5
Beat the Prespic boss in Co-op mode.

Just beat the boss of the third level in co-op mode (Possible in Goddess mode).

way easier on level 7:

Why is this a 6/10 difficulty?
Is the hardest difficulty a pain?

Yeah, it can be difficult. I would say it depends on skill.
But everyone can post his valuation of difficulty below. Then I can change it if necessary.
