As you are setting your difficulty hit the yellow button on ur guitar which enables "Short Play" .. Still get 5 stars easy and songs are half the length hence clocking it MUCH sooner!

Good to know now that I'm clocking 31 hours and still not done!

Oh well. I thought that one actually disabled achievements. Heard it from a number of people.

He doesn't say it's hard. He just said doing this makes it quicker.

There's only certain songs you can do this on and I personally think it makes the songs not even fun. It ruins Crocodile Rock IMHO.

1) You can do Short Mode with EVERY ON-DISC LRB song.
The only times where Short Mode is not allowed by the game are during Random setlists, or doing Create a Setlist and you've picked a non-LRB song.

2) There are songs where it will allow you to select Short Mode but it will not do anything because the song is so short anyway (I think this is the case for Ride a White Swan?).

3) The quickest possible setlist will always include "Charlene" by Stephen and the Colberts. It's DLC, but it's free, so this will be accessible to most. Use that song, plus "Song 2" (shortest LRB song) for your 2-song setlists. This will be shorter than any given 2 LRB songs on Short Mode.

For 3-song setlists, if you have exported RB1, throw Blitzkrieg Bop in there. If you haven't, use Ride a White Swan.

There are probably many other configurations including short DLC songs (Rockaway Beach is also very short), but this advice is more geared towards those who don't have access to a lot of DLC.

*Extra tip: You can pick any album you want for all album events, not just the one that they tell you to play. Be sure to create an album of your quickest setlist (mine was Charlene, Song 2, and Blitzkrieg Bop) and use it every time you're asked to play an album.
