And the D-pad doesn't help either. hahahaha. Geeez. I thought it was going to be bad on SOUL CALIBUR, but this has to be the worst case with the D-pad yet. Every time I push right, I jump right. Ruins combos and perfects ALL the time.

Here's how I got it:
1. Go to single player->training->classic arcade 2. Choose SSFIIT Saget(so he has a special bar) 3. Make the dummy T.Hawk 4. Set dummy to no block and super always on 5. While the dummy's in the corner, jump in with a late HP (has to be late, or "deep"), then combo into his super (QCF QCF HP) as you're landing. You'll get 6-7hits. Once you start hitting 7 hits and getting the hang of it (might take awhile, keep at it, and make sure you're HP is coming in deep in the jump), go to the next part: 7. Start classic arcade local multiplayer, pick SSFIIT Saget, pick T. Hawk for 2 player 8. Keep doing a WP uppercut away from the standing second player (to build up your meter) 9. Put 2 player in the corner 10. Combo, if fail, try try again I actually failed the first time, but got the throw achievement just to end the round, lol. So, if you don't have that, and get frustrated, there ya go. EDIT: I suggest setting your controller to this: WP=X MP=LT HP=Y WK=A MK=RT HK=B Triggers are a pain, and you probably won't use medium attacks unless you're playing footsie with a human opponent... I haven't tried this combo yet in the remix but I used to do this all the time in the old SF. Pick Dee Jay, jump in with middle kick (1) as soon as u land stick/pad hold back-down and press medium punch (2), after the elbow lands push forward and press medium kick (3,4) when he's in the middle of the move press down-back again and as soon as that move finishes press up-forward on the stick and hard kick to perform the triple kick(5,6,7)

I wasn't able to pull off Sagat's 7hit combo until I did it this way:
- Jump Forward - Before Landing, do QCF + FP - Immediately after, do QCF + FP My problem before was that I was trying to jump in, press FP before landing, then QCF + QCF + FP, which never worked. Plus, I found it easier to use the classic Tiger Knee (QCF, UF + K) to charge up sagat's super meter. Last edited by GaTechGrad; 11-29-2008 at 08:50 AM. |

I cannot get the chun-li method to work I have tried it about 10 times and she won't hit the up kick at the end. I did everything exactly as was written and she dosen't hit, she flys in the air and he's already on the floor. Can't be time issues because i did it really quickly; not even a seconds space. What's happening...

Craigimuss, I was having the same problem as you with the "Chun Li method" as posted by UBC Disco... then I thought to myself, maybe I am supposed to do this in the classic mode (of course while choosing turbo, so you have your super) and when I changed it to that setting I got a 8-hit-combo on my second or third try. Thanks for the great advise UBC Disco and good luck Craigimuss, hope that helps!

This is another easy way.
1. Choose Dee Jay as your character. 2. Press start with the second controller and choose Zangief 3. Jump over and use the F kick,(Hold)down, jab, jab, jab, and then do the up kick by pressing up + F kick I got it on my first try, hopes this helps

You know, I'm real tired of people saying the Chun Li one works wonders....
I can pull the super off and up kicks no problem, but the problem is the damn other player falls to the ground after my super so the up kicks do nothing but miss...... I'd like to know how people get the achievement using this method, because for me its crap...Maybe I'm missing something, but I just don't see it.... And yes I'm in classic and everything else so don't say that... Edit: Just got it! Finally..... Sorry for seeming like an ass. I was just slightly off with my timing after the super..... My advice to anyone like me, patience, patience, and more patience. Its all about the timing. I figured the Chun Li one was crap, but I was the crap one. Just practice over and over and you will eventually get it. Last edited by FreestyleOtaku; 12-02-2008 at 11:41 PM. |

the DJ method worked for me. it helped when i turned the speed to zero, and gave DJ a handicap to give me more tries. jump OVER t-hawk, and try hit medium kick just before landing on the ground (all the while holding down), then low punch x 3, followed by up and high kick. not needing super bar is great.

Yeh, I have to say that Chun Li's is very easy. Just get the nack of pulling off the special, charge the up kick move while the special is occurring, and like someone else said....works like wonders.

man I'm having a hard time with this one. I can get 6 hits off Tiger Genocide and 6 hits with Chun Li.
Sagat: After I jump in with the punch they always block the TIger Genocide Chun Li: My up kick after the special only get's one hit

This method worked great for me! I tried the Chun-Li method for 30+ minutes, and could not get it. I was able to get the Dee Jay method in just a few rounds. If anyone cares, I am using the Hori Arcade fighting stick (link) -- modded with 8 way (octagonal) plate & BAT handle. VERY WELL WORTH IT! |

Chun-Li's one is super easy, cant remember exactly what it was though I think it's super into her upward spin kick isnt it?
Balrog has another that's not too hard, cr.LP x2, st.LP, super I think will get it. Could be wrong I dont remember the exact button presses. |

After trying the chun-li method for around 2 hours - I used the Deejay method and got it on my 3rd go.
The timing is much easier and providing you can connect the jump kick with the three jabs its an easy 7-hit combo. For anyone reading this who hasnt got the achievement try this method first - it's much easier than the Sagat / Chun-li Just online wins to go now for a easy 200/200.

Well, After trying Sagat for 30 minutes or so, my first punch was never counted in the combo.
Then, chun-li's method, my up kick never connected with the opponent which was already on the ground. Then, Dee Jay... Got it on my 3rd try in practice so i switched to VS mode and did it immediately. That one worked like a charm for me.
