im level 54 now, you start your specialization at level 50. once you choose one ( i chose wetwork) you become a level 51 and the xp required for each rank is greatly smaller for the first few ranks (51-54) and then its back up to the 30k-40k range to rank up. Once you reach level 60 you unlock the wetwork special ability, then you move on to your next specialization. rinse and repeat until you are SR-130
