Counters are okay as long as you use your fists. It just knocks out enemies, but doesn't kill them.
It can happen very easily that you kick enemies when they are unconcious if you just keep hitting
quickly. Sometimes this even looks like it's still part of a normal finishing move, but it kills the unconcious person.
