I followed chapter 8 as written in guide, and it gets messed up like the above poster says. The story also ended early for me, by about 4 more choices. I still got the achievement however, and all is left is my bad ending. So I'm not sure how pertinent this info is, since by following the guide even when the "missmatch" occured I still ended up getting Haruka's Happy Ending.
