I just got this game for the PC because my wife was having Viva withdrawals. I'm having trouble with it and it is making the game practically unplayable.

1) How can I get the XBox controller to work? I have a plug n play, it's plugged in, but I cannot switch controls from the mouse to the controller.

2) LAAAAAAAAAG! The game lags HORRIBLY!!! What can I do about it?

Any help would be appreciated...anything...(a link to a troubleshooting site?)

My comp uses Windows Vista if that helps.
