Find the hidden companion cube in co-op test chamber
Course 4: Excursion Funnels Chamber 9.
Note: Going for this achievement means certain death
The Companion Cube is right before the end of the Chamber. Continue playing the chamber normally until you have to use the Hard-Light Bridge to knock the turrets off balance so you can make your way across safely. On the opposite side of where you would lay the portal to do that is a tunnel that goes to nowhere. You will want to lay your Hard-Light Bridge close enough so that it will continue down that tunnel. It would be best to do this while you are in the Excursion Funnel against the wall and you can't move. Now once you have your Hard-Light Bridge placed properly have the other person shoot their Excursion Funnel below so you fall into the Excursion Funnel and glide your war to the Hard-Light Bridge. Now you will be pinned against the Hard-Light Bridge. Have the person with the Excursion Funnel shoot their portal right to the left where the Hard Light Bridge portal is. You will no go down the tunnel and if you look at the wall to your left (facing the direction you're going) you will see the wall open up and reveal the Companion Cube and the achievement will unlock.
Narbacular Drop - 25
Place a portal under your co-op partner while they are gesturing
This can be done pretty much anywhere. Have your friend stand over a surface where you can shoot a portal. Now shoot a portal somewhere else. Have your friend gesture and then shoot a portal below them while they are gesturing and achievement unlocked.
Asking for Trouble - 10
Taunt GLaDOS in front of a camera in each of the five co-op courses
You must taunt GLaDOS at least once in each of the five co-op course. This means you only need to do it a total of 5 times. You do not need to do it for every chamber, only every course. You can do any gesture you want so wave, dance, or taunt her. You will know that it counts because you will see yourself through the camera's feedback.
Rock Portal Scissors - 20
Win 3 co-op games of rock-paper-scissors in a row
You must win 3 games or rock-paper-scissors in a row in co-op. Only one person needs to have the gesture for this and both people can get the achievement. This achievement is purely based on luck of the draw. There is no way to choose what you want. You just have to keep playing until you win 3 in a row. If you lose your streak resets. If you tie your streak stays the same.
Friends List With Benefits - 50
While playing co-op, hug 3 different people on your friends list
You have to hug 3 different people that are on your friends list. You can use the achievement trading thread of play with your actualy friends. Another alternative is to search for randoms and add them as a friend. Then quit back to the main menu and then start up a game again with your new friend. If you don't do that it will still count them as a stranger. You first unlock Hug at the end of Course 3: Hard-Light Surfaces Chamber 8.
Four Ring Circus - 25
Enter 4 different portals without touching the ground in co-op
The easiest way to do this is to have 2 portals from one player on the ground (preferably close to each other). You will then want the player who has the portals down to jump into one of the portals from a decent height. This way the player will keep going through the portals back and forth. The other play will shoot his own two portals in the exact same spot where the other two portals were. Make sure you wait until he just exits one so you have more time. Once the player goes through both portals again he will get the achievement. A good spot to do this is Course 3: Hard-Light Surfaces Chamber 5. Another good spot to do this is Course 5: Mobility Gels Chamber 4.
Triple Crown - 15
Solve 3 co-op chambers in the Mass and Velocity course in under 60 seconds each
You have to complete a total of 3 co-op chambers in Course 2: Mass and Velocity in under 60 seconds each. This does NOT have to be in a row or in 1 playthrough. You can do 2 Chambers and leave that course and come back and do another Chamber later. They just all have to be different Chambers.
Chamber 1, 2, and 3 are the easiest. Just learn how to do each of them and have your partner and you remember your roles.
Still Alive - 15
Complete Course 4 with neither you nor your co-op partner dying
Course 4: Excursion Funnels Chambers 1-9.
This achievement is easier than it sounds. You just have to know how to do each chamber and you should be fine. Once you know how to complete each chamber without problems it should be easy. If you can't find a good team mate you can always do this split-screen and it is pretty easy in split-screen. There is only 1-2 parts that are a bit hard. Take your time and don't fool around. This also has to be done in one playthrough. You have to start on Chamber 1 and complete all 9 Chambers in a row without dying.
Can't Touch This - 10
Dance in front of a turret blocked by a hard light bridge in co-op
You need to be in the shooting range of a turret, but have a Hard-Light Bridge blocking the turret from shooting you. Then you have to dance (you can perform any gesture) and the achievement will unlock. The first time you can do this is Course 3: Hard-Light Surfaces Chamber 6. It's right at the beginning. In the beginning of Course 4: Excursion Funnels Chamber 9 you can also do this.
