Introduction:

Perfect Dark Zero is a prequel to the Nintendo 64 game Perfect Dark. It tells the story of Joanna Dark - a bounty hunter - who works with her father Jack and friend Chandra. The gameplay in Perfect Dark Zero is reminiscent of the original; there is a large focus on stealth, one-hit kills and clever use of gadgets. The achievement list is a difficult one, it requires a lot of patience and persistence, especially in regards to the "Dark Agent" achievements. It's not for the faint of heart. However, if you consider yourself worthy of taking the challenge, you're in for a lot of fun.

Step One: Agent Difficulty

While this isn't completely necessary, I highly recommend you do your first playthrough of the game on Agent difficulty. The reason I suggest Agent rather than Perfect Agent difficulty, is due to the fact that you can't choose your weapons on your first playthrough. Doing each mission with the default loadout is very difficult (on higher difficulties), therefore, you should grab all of the weapons you can whilst familiarising yourself with the game. For a list of the weapons in the game and their locations,

see here.

If instead you're looking to do the minimum of 3 playthroughs, ignore this step.

Step Two: Perfect Agent Co-op

Either find a partner via the

achievement trading thread, or invite a friend around to play co-op locally. Play through each mission on Perfect Agent. When you've finished the final mission, you will unlock Dark Agent difficulty for both single player and co-op. This is why you should do your Perfect Agent playthrough in co-op, if you do it in single player, it will only unlock Dark Agent for single player mode.

Step Three: Dark Agent Co-op

This is a big step up from Perfect Agent, so you and your partner (that you found in the

achievement trading thread or locally) should prepare for a challenge. Be patient, do not get frustrated and make sure to work together. It's imperative that you both know exactly what your roles are within the mission, as one false move or shot can end your run. Refer to this post for more information on co-op Dark Agent.

Step Four: Dark Agent Single Player

By far the toughest thing to do in Perfect Dark Zero, is complete the single player mode on Dark Agent difficulty. It is merciless, you take copious amounts of damage if you get hit, there are no armour pick-ups and there are no second chances (unlike co-op, where your partner can potentially revive you). You will more than likely find yourself replaying missions over and over, gradually making more and more progress. Keep at it, in time you'll possess the skills to do each mission and be able to grab this notoriously difficult achievement. Refer to these posts (

1 - 2) for walkthroughs of each mission.

Step Five: Multiplayer

None of the multiplayer achievements are genuinely hard, as they can all be done against bots (even teamkills count), however, they will take quite a long time. You need to play 2000 matches to completion, so be prepared for a lot of grinding. Do all of the miscellaneous multiplayer achievements first, such as "1000 Headshots" and "100 Flag Captures" etc. When you only have the "1000 Dark Ops/Deathmatch" achievements left, focus on ending the matches as quick as possible. Refer to the achievement guide for the quickest method.

Conclusion:

Perfect Dark Zero is a tough, yet ultimately rewarding game, with an achievement list that reflects this.

Completed One Single Player Mission On Dark Agent

To unlock Dark Agent difficulty, you must first complete the game on Perfect Agent in single player or co-op. Once it is unlocked, choose an easy mission in single player, such as mission 00-Datacore, complete it and the achievement is yours.

Note: Mission 13 (Arena) does not count.

Completed Five Single Player Missions On Dark Agent

Refer to "1 Solo Mission On Dark Agent" for information on how to unlock Dark Agent difficulty. For this achievement, you must complete five missions on Dark Agent in single player. Five of the easiest levels in the game are:

Mission 00- Datacore

Mission 05- Laboratory

Mission 06- River

Mission 07- Trinity (Infiltration)

Mission 12- Bridge

Note: Mission 13 (Arena) does not count.

Completed Single Player Game on Agent Difficulty Setting

Agent is the easiest difficulty in the game. Subsequently, the enemy AI and the damage dealt is significantly reduced, compared to the other difficulties. You also have less objectives to complete.

I suggest you run through the game on Agent to gather all of the weapons. If you finish a level holding a weapon, it is added to your armory. You're then able to choose the weapons you wish to take into missions, which is essential when taking on the harder difficulties.

There is a checkpoint in all but the last mission on Agent difficulty. The location of the checkpoints are as follows:

Datacore Demolition:

Just after you blow the CPU core with the CamSpy and the cutscene ends, you'll pass the checkpoint.

Nightclub Stakeout:

Right after scanning all the enforcers, a cutscene where Jack runs into a spot of trouble will play. You will be given a checkpoint when it finishes.

Subway Retrieval:

Grab Zeigler's briefcase in the safehouse and you'll clear the checkpoint.

Rooftops Escape:

You'll pass the checkpoint upon reaching the final battle against Killian's Dropship at the docks.

Mansion Infiltration:

Upon reaching the deathmatch fight against Mai Hem you will be given a checkpoint.

Laboratory Rescue:

Reach the huge containment area outside the prison beyond the labs to pass the checkpoint.

River Extraction:

Open the motor pool's gate to clear the checkpoint.

Trinity Infiltration:

Beat the Brothers at the start to pass the checkpoint. This checkpoint is pretty useless.

Trinity Escape:

Once you reach the top of the datacore on your way through the facility you will pass the checkpoint.

Jungle Storm:

Not long after you exit the village area, you'll hit the checkpoint just before the shallow lake.

Temple Surveillance:

Right after planting the tracking device on the energy source you'll be given the checkpoint.

Outpost Rescue:

Reach the final battle against Mai Hem to pass the checkpoint.

Bridge Assault:

After Jonathon unlocks the two large doors, you will meet up with Carrington. Once he is finished talking, you will hit a checkpoint.

Complete all 14 missions on Agent, (or a higher difficulty) in single player, to unlock this achievement.

Completed Single Player Game on Secret Agent Difficulty Setting

Secret Agent is a little step up from Agent. Every difficulty modifier is increased. For example, the AI will have better accuracy on Secret Agent, as opposed to Agent. It's still not great, but it does make things harder.

There is a checkpoint in all but the last mission on Secret Agent difficulty. The location of the checkpoints are as follows:

Datacore Demolition:

Completed Single Player Game on Dark Agent Difficulty Setting

Dark Agent is no joke. It is not forgiving of mistakes, requires absolute precision and total concentration. The only way to beat the game on this difficulty, is to memorise the levels. It will take a great deal of skill, but knowing exactly what to do and how to go about it will see you on your way to conquering Perfect Dark. On that note, watch the videos, study them, commit the path and enemy placement to memory, then tackle the levels.

Dark Agent details:

*Enemy accuracy is increased

*Damage (received) is increased

*Armor pick-ups are gone

There is one checkpoint on Dark Agent difficulty. It is in the following location:

Datacore Demolition:

Just after you blow the CPU core with the CamSpy and the cutscene ends, you'll pass the checkpoint.

Mission guides/Videos and Notes:

Datacore

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_EbD1gYBBgk]Perfect Dark Zero Dark Agent Walkthrough: Mission 00 - YouTube[/ame]

I recommend the Plasma Rifle, rather than the Shockwave. This is a training level, thus it is simple. The only real danger is the jetpack enemies at the end of the level. Personally, once the elevator stopped, I turned on the Plasma Rifles secondary function (invisibility) by pressing :rbbut: and ran to the exit, leaving the jetpack enemies behind.

Difficulty- 1/10

Nightclub

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b3VrrIRwriE&feature=player_embedded]Nightclub | Stakeout (01) - YouTube[/ame]

Instead of killing the 3 guys at the start (one sitting, 2 standing), leave them and use the audioscope on the first enforcer. If you do not kill all three of the guys after using the audioscope, the mission will continue, instead of instantly failing. The nightclub is full of enemies, so take it easy. Engage enemies and then retreat, make them come to you (as shown in the video).

Difficulty- 6/10

Subway

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J_LJkCVlFkc]Perfect Dark Zero Dark Agent Walkthrough: Mission 02 Part 1 - YouTube[/ame]

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7juu0FkeYro&NR=1]Perfect Dark Zero Dark Agent Walkthrough: Mission 02 Part 2 - YouTube[/ame]

The RCP-90's secondary function is great in the latter part of the level. In what will be a recurring theme, the first part of the level is not too tough, but the second part is insane. The train houses many enemies who are hard to see. The RCP-90's secondary function helps, as it highlights them in red.

If you can't beat it with the RCP-90, learn where the enemies are (in the train section) and take the Plasma Rifle instead. Try to draw the enemy to the train door, as it makes them easier to hit. Just rapid fire through the door when you see them coming.

Difficulty- 8/10

Rooftops

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4CYiOEEbSow]Perfect Dark Zero Dark Agent Walkthrough: Mission 03 Part 1 - YouTube[/ame]

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_tHEQ2A-3w&NR=1]Perfect Dark Zero Dark Agent Walkthrough: Mission 03 Part 2 - YouTube[/ame]

There are several snipers in this level who can (and will) one shot you. You need to be quick to take them out. When it comes to the boss fight, ignore the video. Focus all of your fire on one of the engines, using an SMG or the Plasma Rifle. If you run out of ammo, use your pistol. When you see the ship getting ready to shoot a missile at you, get behind one of the large cement blocks (with a corrugated iron roof) in its line of fire. The missile should hit it. Destroying the ship before it starts trying to burn you is the goal. If it does try however, bring out your Hawk.

Difficulty- 7/10

Mansion

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJkz5EysxQg]Perfect Dark Zero Dark Agent Walkthrough: Mission 04 - YouTube[/ame]

Getting into the mansion isn't too difficult when you learn the enemy placement. The boss fight on the other hand is quite painful.

Choose the M60 when Chandra asks you which weapon you would like. Do not use it straight away! Instead, reload it, then put it away. You need to save it for Mai Hem's clones. The best place to go when the clones arrive, is behind the far left statue, on your side of the arena. The clones will not shoot at you unless they are beside you. When you have killed the clones, the statue you have been hiding behind will come to life. Move quick, or he will punch you. Collect all of the Super Dragons whilst the statues come after you. Kill the statues, then unload on Mai Hem with grenade rounds.

Difficulty- 7/10

Laboratory

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=24bx6WtHYMQ]Perfect Dark Zero Dark Agent Walkthrough: Mission 05 Part 1 - YouTube[/ame]

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9oOxT3gsZzw]Perfect Dark Zero Dark Agent Walkthrough: Mission 05 Part 2 - YouTube[/ame]

Instead of running straight into the first vent, use your Locktopus on the console to your left. It will prevent the alarm from going off, so all the girl guards with magnums won't spawn.

Difficulty- 5/10

River

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=krSC4PwsnEw]Perfect Dark Zero Dark Agent Walkthrough: Mission 06 Part 1 - YouTube[/ame]

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y9U-ksyx4EM]Perfect Dark Zero Dark Agent Walkthrough: Mission 06 Part 2 - YouTube[/ame]

I like to use the Shockwave here, rather than the Jackal, as I have trouble seeing the enemies outside. Either will work though. Once you get onto the hovercraft, you should be fine, as Jack is a relatively good shot. Make sure to attach the rocket launcher to turret on the hovercraft.

Difficulty-6/10

Trinity (Infiltration)

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZOSTU7dP8w]Perfect Dark Zero Dark Agent Walkthrough: Mission 07 - YouTube[/ame]

Follow the video precisely. Should be a walk in the park.

Difficulty- 2/10

Trinity (Escape)

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pi6LtFrVT4I]Trinity | Escape (08) - YouTube[/ame]

You need to be quick when making your way to the evacuation point at the end. If your dropship gets shot down, it is mission over. Be wary of your allies walking into your fire, as if you kill them, it is mission failed.

Difficulty- 6/10

Jungle

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJM7V3rgcYI]Perfect Dark Zero - Jungle Storm - YouTube[/ame]

This is by far the toughest mission in the game. When following the video, ignore the part where he gets the grenades. Instead, kill the guy near the ladder, turn on invisibility (secondary function on Plasma Rifle) and climb the ladder. The guy above should be unaware of your presence. No one will follow you from below.

When you reach the Jetpack, get in it and simply fly to the exit. See the video below for the path to take in the Jetpack.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dWwt0xw5hMs]PDZ Jungle Glitch Dark Agent - YouTube[/ame]

Difficulty- 10/10

Temple

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1b1AL7EcUVs]Temple | Surveillance (10) - YouTube[/ame]

First part will become very easy with practice. After opening the scientists cell, instead of entering cover (like in the video) exit through the doorway and start shooting. You waste too much time if you wait in cover. The end with the Phantoms is very difficult. I failed many times. Best way I've found to kill them, is to set off the flood water, then head for the end of the basin. Try to kill all of them at one end, so you can focus on one point of attack.

Difficulty- 6/10

Outpost

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-9BX9YF-q0]Outpost | Rescue (11) - YouTube[/ame]

When the second drop ship arrives, enter the stairway ahead (instead of going back and waiting), stand on the stairs and unload on the ship. You should be able to destroy it before it deploys the troops, saving you a lot of hassle.

Take out the driver when in the hovercraft battle. Stand/crouch behind a pillar and shoot at Mai Hem every 5-10 seconds. With luck, she won't fire back at you.

Difficulty- 9/10

Bridge

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TlK5pZhBypA]Perfect Dark Zero Dark Agent Walkthrough: Mission 12 Part 1 - YouTube[/ame]

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GkhAO2j20DI]Perfect Dark Zero Dark Agent Walkthrough: Mission 12 Part 2 - YouTube[/ame]

I would actually recommend a speedrun of the level, however, there are no videos that show it in action, so it may be easier to follow the above. It's the polar opposite of a speedrun; you're going to provoke the enemy then run back and pick them off. Be patient, that's about the only advice I can offer.

If you are interested in trying it the arguably easier way (speedrun), then you'll need to bring along the Plasma Rifle. Use the cloak at various stages to run past enemies. When you get to the bridge, you're going to want to take the path below it (across the beam). The hardest part is at the end, after killing the spider bots. If you can make it up the first set of stairs and around the corner, you are home.

Difficulty- 5/10

Arena

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vQMv87KAOnc]Perfect Dark Zero Dark Agent Walkthrough: Mission 13 - YouTube[/ame]

This is a very short level, as it is purely a boss fight. You cannot fall off the level, so roll as often as you like to avoid Zhang Li's fire.

Difficulty- 1/10

Completed Co-Op Game On Dark Agent Difficulty Setting

Very important- If you have not unlocked the Dark Agent difficulty, you will not get this achievement, regardless of whether you actually complete the game in co-op on Dark Agent. Therefore, both you and your partner need to have Dark Agent difficulty unlocked to be awarded the achievements.

Refer to "Completed Single Dark Agent" for more information on the Dark Agent difficulty and mission guides. This can be done locally or online.

When playing co-op, it is possible to revive your partner if they go down. To do this, stand by their body then press :dleft: or :dright: on the D-Pad to begin the revival process. You must stand by their body for 10-15 seconds, otherwise the revival process will need to be started again. There is a rather large drawback to reviving your partner: Half of your health will be taken away.

For the majority of levels, only one player needs to reach the mission exit. The exceptions to this are:

Mission 00- Datacore

Mission 02- Subway

Mission 03- Rooftops

Mission 05- Laboratory

[Need more information]

The missions are not much different in co-op, there are no extra enemies or objectives. There are however a lot of doors that require both players to be present to unlock them (two buttons). There are also elevators which only allow one person to ride in them. Usually there is another button at the top/bottom to send it back for the other player.

Complete all 14 missions in co-op, on Dark Agent, to unlock this achievement.

Grab the Viblade as soon as possible. It will spawn on a balcony above one of the arches. Since the enemy AI is set to Bully, they will focus on the player with the least kills. If that's not you, they will be oblivious to your presence. Hit them in the back... Once you have reached the score limit, set up 9 more matches with the same settings until you have the 1000 melee kills. It will take a couple of hours. It can be a mix of online and offline.

If you own a second controller, you can get your kills even quicker. The mode needs to be switched to Team Killcount. Change the bot count to 14, to allow for your second controller. Set it to "Bots vs Humans". When the game begins, take your second controller around the outskirts of the map until you see a rock which you can climb on. If you are facing the Viblade spawn, it is 45 degree's to your right.

All the bots will swarm to the rock, but will be unable to hit the second player. This makes them easy prey.

Note: Melee kills from behind only count when using the Viblade. When using any other weapon, you must hit them from the front.

*You must complete the match for your achievement progress to register.

Expert Kill Award. Achieved 1000 Explosive Kills over all multiplayer games played.

Perform 1000 explosive kills. The quickest way to get this achievement, is to set up a match with the following settings:

Deathmatch

Mode: Team Killcount

Map: Old Town

Map Size: Small

Bots: 15 (Agent) 14 on your team, 1 on the other

Weapons: Custom (Multi-Mines)

When the match begins, run through the teleport, turn around, then throw mines at the teleport exit. The aim is to kill your teammates, as teamkills count towards the kill achievements. Stand on an ammo box and keep throwing the mines. The 1000 kills will take a little over an hour using this method. It can be a mix of online and offline.

If you own a second controller, you can get your kills even quicker. Change the bots to 14, to allow for your second controller. Their personality needs to be set to "Bully". Also, add a Combat Shield in the fifth custom weapon slot. When the game begins, get into the same setup as "1000 Headshot Kills". Constantly throw your mines in the doorway entrance. Be careful not to walk into the blast radius of the Multi-Mines. You can kill 40 bots every minute, so 1000 explosive kills will take 25 minutes.

*You must complete the match for your achievement progress to register.

DarkOps

Mode: Infection

Map: Old Town

Map Size: Small

Bots: 15 (Agent)

Round Limit: 10 minutes

Rounds: 5

You need to be a human, so if you spawn as the infected, just play the round properly. When you're a human and the purchase screen comes up, buy armor and FAL X2. Once the round begins, head up the stairs, near the truck in the middle of the map. At the top, enter the doorway to your left, then you will be in a room with three doors, a table and a doorway. Enter the doorway and run all the way to the end (over a little hole). Watch the doorway. As more enemies get infected, they will turn their attention to you. The bots will rarely shoot at you. They will simply keep running straight at you. Try to shoot 10 of them with your left pistol first, then alternate, left and right. Do not manually reload. Aim for their heads obviously. You can get 300-400 headshots every 10 minutes, so you're looking at around half an hour for the 1000 headshots. It can be a mix of online and offline. Teamkills count.

*Note, this method requires a second controller.

Weapons: Custom (First 4 slots Multi-Mines, fifth slot Combat Shield, last slot the Jackal)

Bot Count: 14 (Agent/Bully)

Bot Teams: Humans vs Bots

Time Limit: 10

Points Limit: None

When the match begins, use your second controller, grab a combat shield and head for the same location as described in the "1000 Headshot Kills" guide. Crouch down with your combat shield facing the doorway. This is where you will stay for the rest of the match. Your second controller will not take any damage, but will attract the enemies into the corridor, making them easy to shoot. With your controller, head into the room with the table. There are three doors. The Jackal spawns in the first to your right. Once you have the Jackal, go stand next to the table and aim towards your partner. Shoot the bots in the head. If you run out of ammo, go back to the Jackal's spawn and get some more. You will get 12 bullets each time, so be precise with your shots. Occasionally a bot may punch you, so be careful. On a good run, you can get 80 sniper kills in 10 minutes. 1000 sniper kills will take around two hours. It can be a mix of online and offline. Teamkills count.

A bot will grab the enemy flag and start to bring it back. Normally, he will take the path on your left. When he comes into sight, shoot him, grab the flag by running to it, then stand on your teams flag to capture it. You can get 10 captures every 6 minutes. 100 captures will take one hour. Time Limit 3

Starting Money: 15,000CR

Weapons: Disallow all except Multi-Mines and the SuperDragon.

If you start as the infected (skeletons), you must kill the humans. Each kill against a human is one infection. As you start with only a pistol when infected, it is a good idea to press :dup: to put your gun away, then :rbbut: when you're near an enemy. This will allow you to steal their weapon.

When you begin the round on the humans side, buy the SuperDragon and Multi-Mines. Again, you want to kill the humans (teamkill). Do not under any circumstances suicide when you are a human, as you will need to sit out the rest of the round. If you're killed as a human, you will be turned to the infected side. Using this method you can get between 300-400 kills each hour. Therefore, it will take two and a half to three hours to infect 1000 players. It can be a mix of online and offline.

The way I look at it, if it helps even one person, it is worth it. I enjoy making the guides, so it doesn't really phase me if thousands of people don't use this guide. Sure, the game is old, but it is good. I only started playing it a couple of days ago... I received 4 messages from friends asking if I wanted to do co-op, so people are still interested in the game.

I was done with the reserves btw, should be enough.

Just ignore nozza hes a bit of an idiot, he just goes round this website finding people to have a go at because hes got nought better to do. I mean who is he to tell you not to make a detailed guide. If you want to make one, make one, you don't have to justify anything to that him. Good on you mate for taking the time making it and enjoying making it and carry on doing so, don't let nozza ruin you spending more time in the future making guides. It seems you have achieved your goal of helping at least one person

I will most certainly be finishing it, regardless. Thanks for the support. I get annoyed when I buy old games (they're usually very cheap) only to find the guide on x360a is totally useless because the standards in the early days of the site were abysmal. I figure, rather than complain, it is better to actually do something about it. Thus, a new guide is born. lol.

In regards to my guide, as I mentioned earlier, I've only had a few days with the game. I've done a lot in those few days though, nearly finished Dark Agent in single player...

I have not touched co-op however, so if someone wants to help me out by answering a few questions, I would appreciate it. Do you both need to finish the level? Or is it considered complete when one player gets to the exit? If you have unlocked Dark Agent in single player, is it automatically unlocked in co-op? How does the revival system work? Are there more enemies to account for the extra player? Thanks in advance to anyone who can answer these questions.

*Edit- One last question. Anyone know why the NextGenWalkThrough videos won't embed? Usually if embedding is disabled, it tells you...

STFU.. So hard behind a PC arn't we?

Where in my post did I say DON'T make it.. Yes I said it may be a waste as there's a guide already up and the games 6+ years old but I was pointing out facts so that Shelton didn't waste his time.

If he doesn't care then go for it, what can we/I do. I said it was a nice looking guide and I'm pretty sure it'll turn out great, as even in the WIP stages it does! Again, feel free to point out where I told him NOT to make it and where I implied to him that he needs to justify himself!?

And if I am an idiot who goes around the site looking for a flame argument then its only because dumb arse's like you derserve it because of your stupidity!

Shelton - I was only stating facts, so feel free to carry on. I'm not here to stop you from making it. If you don't see it as a "waste" then proceed and I'll actually like to see the final version! In regards to your questions, unfortunatley I cant help! Again I haven't played the game since lauch but to have a laugh I still have it as I had "special" edition with a cover, which I lost, and then couldn't return it as it had the barcode on lol! I'd reccomend you search this site, the old guide or the web for your answer, as I'm sure it'll pop up! I also have no answer about the vid's sorry =/

Sorry for turning this thread into a mini flame war but some people just can't help themselves..

Good luck!

I completed Dark Agent solo yesterday, so I've added more notes. I would love to record my own videos, as I feel that some of the paths the guys take in the videos are unnecessary, but I do not have a capture device. Maybe some time down the line I will buy one.

I will be working on the guide for an hour or two each night, so it may be a little while before it is complete. Also, I'll be going through co-op next weekend, therefore, I will be able to fill in the information for all those achievements. The roadmap will be done last.

As for this mini flame war, I wasn't really bothered by your statement Nozza. I can see where you are coming from to a degree, but I do not like the idea of just leaving the old games to rot.

*Does everyone understand where I mean, when I mention the little hole on Old Town? I'm not really one for taking pictures, as I have no decent camera. I'll see what I can do, but if a kind soul would like to take a picture for me, that would be great.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just a quick update guys/girls. Kinect has been taking up most of my time the past few days, so I haven't been able to work on the guide. Will get back to it soon.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Another update. I won't be going through co-op for a couple of weeks. My friend said he doesn't have time atm, so we're pushing it back. I will fix up those achievements in the guide when I am done. There are only a few more multiplayer achievements that I need to write a guide for, then (except for the co-op) the guide will essentially be complete. Still need to work on the roadmap and also proof-read the whole thing. If there are any errors in the guide, please point them out to me.

:). You're looking at around 30 hours for the multiplayer achievements. The campaign must be completed at least three times, though I would recommend four playthroughs. The reason for this, is that you will find it very hard to complete Perfect Agent without being able to choose your weapons. Best to run through on Agent, grab them all, then work on the harder difficulties. Two playthroughs on the hardest difficulty are required (SP and co-op), which won't be quick...

I would estimate 20-25 hours for the campaign achievements. The levels can be completed within 10-20 minutes, but it's likely that you'll need to retry many times.

So, at least 50 hours IMO.

Alright, thanks man. 35 seemed really low, so 50 seems accurate. I guess the way I am doing takes longer but I can watch movies with out having to constantly check my game.

Working on 1000 rounds survived in eradication, while cleaning up my pile of unwatched movies :)

That's the way to do it. The whole time I was grinding out wins, I was on my laptop. If you sit there and actively play/watch every game, you will go insane. lol.

*I've now gone through co-op. I will update those achievements and the MP achievements tomorrow.

Guys/Girls, I need some assistance. If you have completed the game in co-op and can provide information on which levels require both players to be present at the end, please post. The following I know for certain only require one player to reach the exit.

Jungle

Temple

Bridge

Arena

I'm thinking about picking up this game again. I've done co-op on Dark and like 6-7 solo missions on Dark.

I'm more concerned about the multiplayer. I only got all the 1000 kills-achievements left - feel like it's going to take ages!

I remember when I first picked up the game the guide didn't help me as much as I wanted it to do - so I'm happy you posted a new guide incase I need to look something up. :)

Does anyone know if you could replay the last level on hardest difficulty or last checkpoint of a level on the hardest difficulty for the hardest difficulty achievements? I dont really like this game but im stuck with it so if there is anyway to make playing the game on solo dark agent any easier...

I agree. I hate this game so much but I really want to 100% it. I would never even be wasting my time with it if I didn't have it on my gamercard from when 360 launched. If you are serious about getting the single player achievements, I highly recommend 0verlord73's videos on youtube. I followed them step by step to beat the game on Perfect Agent.

It is an old game, I had it in my hands before I even had a 360 (some VIP pack back in the day). So the technology behind it is poor compared to todays standards. That said, if you liked Golden Eye... wait thats a dumb statement isn't it... everyone liked Golden Eye... I liken it to that. But, if you are a completionist be warned it will take effort to finish it.
