nobody knows the exact science at this point but people have been able to reproduce. credit goes to "McDump" on another forum...

Step 1: Plant 15 blue wait for seeds harvest.

Step 2: Plant 15 gold wait for seeds harvest. If no indigo go back to step 1

Step 3:Use bounty fertilizer to grow all indigo seeds harvested in step 2. Harvest them for the seeds for use in later steps

Step 4: Plant 15 red flowers. (On all plots that previously had gold plant something to zero it out like wheat so you lower chances of peach which screws up the process) harvest the seeds

Step 5: Plant 15 Indigo Seeds harvest seeds if none pink go back to step 3.

Step 6: Like Step 3 use bounty fertilizer to reproduce large numbers of seeds

use no fertilizer and no water. Once again not exact so feel free to mess around with it a bit

I can't claim to KNOW anything about it, but here's the way my reasoning goes...

*dons a Deerstalker and looks around through a magnifying-glass*

IF the achievement was awarded simply from growing some rare and legendary flower from an equally rare and legendary seed - say, for instance, a Lunar Tear - then the achievement would be less about agriculture, and more about treasure-hunting. After all, you'd still merely have to fertilize, plant, and water twice to grow the flower. Furthermore, despite several people going through the game multiple times with a fine-toothed comb, no such seed has been found.

The only form of agriculture that requires more complex action than just plant-water-harvest, is mixing Moonflowers. Thus, it is most probable that the 'Legendary Flower' is a hard-to-get color of Moonflower. I'm guessing white, due to certain storyline hints, but it could be something else...

EDIT: Okay, this is probably a really stupid question, but... how do you harvest Seeds instead of Flowers? Do you simply leave the plant 'till it withers? Or do you have to refrain from watering them?

The only other color 'known for sure' is Peach. Basically...

Blue+Gold=Indigo

Red+Gold=Peach

Indigo+Red=Pink

Beyond that, nobody's entirely certain. Red+Blue, Peach+Blue, Pink+Peach... they all have potential to create something unknown - the White Moonflower, or the next step towards making one. It's still a new game, and Cultivation is a complicated matter, so it's still being figured out.
