Someone messaged me a few minutes ago that Ranmaru has been found.

"Beat Ranmaru's request 1 on the first floor which unlocks Mitsuhide's request and Keji's request. Beat Mitsuhide's Request 1 on the 11th floor which unlocks his second request on the 21st floor. Beat Mitsude's request 2 which unlocks Ranmaru's request 2 on the 31st floor. Beat Ranmaru's 2nd request to unlock him in free mode."

I'm having a bitch of a time getting this, so I figure I must not be alone. Here's how I got through this one:

First and most importantly, save at the end of the 10th floor. If you jack up his first request, you won't get the one ont he 21st floor, so this is a good point to save.

Mitsuhide's Request, 11th Floor:

Go North, West, and then South and you will clear this floor.

Mitsuhide's Request, 12th Floor:

Time to test out your Hitman skills. You have to get information by eavesdropping on a conversation on this one. You're safe in the first room, so spend some time getting the routes down of the defense captains and make sure that you're very comfortable with the timing on them, when they leave rooms and so on.

The Information marker North of where you start is bogus. Make your way into the room on the Northeast. The Defense captain makes a right-handed L shape route between the smaller rooms bordering it. Approach straight south to the closed door and stick around until the conversation starts and then book it North out of the room. Time your exit on the staircase and keep going to the 13th floor.

Mitsuhide's Request, 13th Floor:

Much easier than the other two. Book it up to where Keiji is at near the stairs in the Northeast. Enter his room and run back to where the X is. Battle it out with him (his health seems to regen) until the Blue dot (Mitsuhide) makes it to the staircase. Run up there as soon as you get the message.

Mitsuhide's Request, 14th Floor:

Similar to the 12th floor, only bigger. When going through this one again, myself, I dsicovered that the rooms aren't always the same, so the information is randomized apparently. The guard routes are long sweeping ones and if you time it right, you can do this whole floor in 2 1/2 minutes or less. The defense captain directly above you makes a circuit 4 rooms deep, so let him pass back to the East (and the captain in the room above him) before you break to the North. Start that conversation then head back to the Southwest corner again.

Next, go all the way East along the South side fo the room, let the guard pass on his route West, and then duck into the room above the X and start that conversation. If that's the one, you're clear to go. If not, head North to the top and West one room and get close to the final door and then simply run to the staircase.

Mitsuhide's Request, 15th Floor:

Finally, time for some asskicking! You get mobbed by about 30 Sumo guys. Combo them out, use your Musou attack which you likely have when they're all grouped up, and pick them off with patience. Your mission will be complete.

I had a hell of a time with Mitsuhide's 1st Request also. I found something on gamefaqs that was extremely helpful. His other requests are a pain in the ass too. You have to escort him to the stairs, but instead of following you, he fights off each and every enemy in his path and it takes 10 times longer than it should. The last time I played, I got up to floor 51 or 56. I started the survival mode at level 31 because I didn't feel like leveling up forever. Now I'm up to 38 with Ieyasu, but I've noticed that it has gotten much more difficult.
