I am not 100% sure if this will work, I know it worked for people that were boosting on certain games in different languages, but it's worth a shot to mention.
Try recovering your gamertag and it might show up in english. It worked for me in Halo when I switched languages the achievement would show up in Japanese, then when I recovered my XBL gamertag it reset all my achievements back to english.
