Dawnguard was released roughly 3 months after the hidden files were found in the 1.5 patch, and seeing as this DLC seems to bigger it may take longer than that.
But hopefully early January 2013.

Unless you got both items from the "Ill Met By Moonlight Quest", you've srewed it up and can't get the achievement.

Maybe reloading an earlier save could help. If not, start a new game.
