Discuss anything regarding the achievements in this thread!

The achievements look like a good set. They look reasonably easy (although some will be time consuming)

However, there is one that sticks out as REALLY difficult.
Surviving ALL 50 rounds of Locusts in the horde mode seems super hard

EDIT: Some people, having played the game, have said this isn't too hard as you can just get it on casual. Thats a relief

Maybe. For the achievement, it stated it could be done on any difficulty. It might not be so bad on Casual. And, also, I haven't read anywhere what difficulty the Epic testers tried so for all we know, it could have been Hardcore or Insane difficulty.

these look fun but at least now u can get seriously doing singleplayer and multiplayer like rainbow 6 where u can get exp in both. 100,000 kills wow thats guna take time

How many kills I wonder can you get on avg doing single player campaign on insane.

Anyone know if there is a way to track your kills?

Prety sure there is a journal to keep track.

Apparently the best at OXM only made it to 7 on Horde, and the best at Epic only make it to 25. But there was no difficulty mentioned. The achievements seem enjoyable, and most will unlock as you play through.

Yeah this looks like an good set a bit biased towards single player but still looks like a good set of achievements.

I was watching g4 and they interiewed some of the staff, and they said that they could only make it up to level 7 of the horde

Look on the bright side... its going to be fun as hell to play

My understanding of horde mode is that it starts pretty easy and ramps up. I haven't heard anywhere that you can set the difficulty in this mode. I may be wrong tho

Look much easier then the last ones list. Well I wasn't really trying to achievement whore it up on GOW but this looks very doable

i should be able to get 700/800G by like first day ;) haha only joking.

i was thinking that the weapon achievement ones might be easy but then i remembered that only one certian type of kill counts per match. but you could do some player matches on one round and get it that way meh......either way my ass has got 5 days after the release off from work and i dont think ill sleep all five of those days. see you all online.

I think the seriously 2.0 achievement could actualy be quite fun and not to hard considering that you can do it online and in the campaign.
i think completeing all 50 rounds of horde will be the toughest achievement but it will be good to have a try at it.
other than that the other achievements seem to be pretty easy

Im lookin foreward to the horde ones cz i herd that you can do it 5 player so it shouldn't b too difficult on casual

I freakin' LOVE this list. So much better than GoW1.

i think they dropped the ball on this one, they look too easy !!!! the 100 kill for each weapon on gow 1 was awesome and took some time and kept you playing, but if you get the achievements quickly then you most likely arent gonna play as much.

Yeah they do seem alot easier, not a bad thing if you ask me.

And as for keeping you playing, I think playing 1999 rounds of Multiplayer was pretty much got that rapped.

I think people are overlooking the fact that seriously 2.0 will still take a butt load of time. Look at Undertow's "Lord of the deep" - 80 kills in 1.5 minutes and 10,000 kills STILL took forever.

I wonder how many kills you get for hoard mode per hour?
If seriously 1.0 took a minimum of 100 hours, with 100 kills/hour (minus gathering times, etc)

seriously 2.0 will take a minimum of
1000 hours with 100 kills/hour
500 hours with 200 kills/hour
200 hours with 500 kills/hour
100 hours with 1000 kills/hour

and YES, i know all modes count, I'm just stating how long it will take to get 100,000 kills using the above figures. When we figure out how many you can kill in an hour of hoard, take 100,000 / (kills per hour) = length of time needed.

Meh, if you can get Seriously, Seriously 2.0 won't be so bad, I mean come on, Campaign? I wonder if even Local Play kills count...

i agree with this. i believe that it was tested on insane so casual may be okay... i wont stop til i do it on insane tho probably using gridlock =D

i dont think this is as bad as it sounds.. this is less than 200 games on 10 rounds.. i usually plays 18 rounders so i think think i worked it out as playin 112 games. so not to bad at all

Yes, if you go and check ur leaderboard stats from GoW 1, you will see that its not that much.

I reckon it's the equivalent of getting about 2000 kills in GoW 1. (based on average of 1 kill a round)

i think the achievements in this sequel are pretty much the same as the 1st. Beat this mission get the achievement, find all of this get the achievement, and kill this with that. Only thing that seems hard is that survive 50 rounds horde mode. i think no matter how you set the difficulty.....50 rounds sounds a lot and the last few rounds shouldn't be too easy no matter you set it.

I just hope they have an in-game tracking system to keep track of all the kills and rounds.

hey can you get most of these acheivements in the campaign??? but like party like its 1999 im assuming is on live and the like capture the meat flag and ish, thats all on live correct? and do the ones that say (any mode) those you can do single player?
