Q: How do I know what achievements go with each game?
A: When you load up a game, look at the menu screen. There is a tab for achievements and they will be listed there.

If anyone happens to have a problem of textures not appearing (thus everything would be a bright purple to indicate a missing texture) saving the game and reloading fixed it for me.

Does anyone know what you have to do to get the thrown physics objects acheivement? I try to pick things up and throw it at them but it doesn't go very far.

"Kill 30 enemies with thrown physics objects"? you get this achievement by throwing objects with the gravity gun and killing an enemy. pull stuff in (left trigger) then shot it at the enemy (right trigger)

Does anyone know where that singing thing is on Water Hazard? Also, I have yet to see a flare...are those only later in the game?

after defeating the hunter chopper in the water hazard level you will have to open a gate to get up to a building. instead of going to the building go through the gate straight to the back and you will see two pipes the one on the left is the one the "singing thing" is in. use your air boat to get into the pipe and make sure you have plenty of health.

the flares are in episode 1

Can anyone tell me how to break Kleiner's mini-teleporter?

you have to put something in the teleporter bigger than it. use the computer monitor or i used a barrel that you can get if you start at the beginning of the level "Red Letter Day"

teleport from the left side and make sure it is touch at the bottom of the teleporter and not hovering above it. (when you do this you will see what i am talking about)

How would I get the payback acheivment. I dont no how im supposed to hit the hunters with their own fletchets. plz help

BTW if you miss the mini teleporter at first, you have a second chance to do it later in the game after Nova Prospect.

Pick up a box or something similar with the grav gun and hold it between you and the hunter. When it shoots the box, shoot the box over to the hunter. If it dies, you get the achievement.

Where the lighthouse is....I see the F'ing cave, how do you get down to it?

In the basement of the lighthouse they open a secret door for you.

how do you heal in tf2?

With a medic.

When taking the gnome to White Forest Base to launch it in the rocket, how do you guys manage to keep the thing in the car? It just falls out for me.

i think you are just going to have to do your best... i havent really done it yet but there is no special place for it in the car.

that sucks... I'm not sure how close I am to the White Forest Base, but the achievement of beating Dog in a race to White Forest Base makes it look like I'm not going to be able to keep constantly stopping to pick up a gnome when it falls out of the car going 10mph.

save it right before you race him. and then race him. then go back to your save and carry the gnome. just save after you first see dog.

How do I knock down a camera in Portal without a portal?

read the achievement guide thread and it will tell you which cameras you can knock down

I just read it again and I still don't understand how to knock down a camera without a portal. It's probably something really obvious, but I don't know how to get them off the wall without a portal. Some of the cameras are in places where you can't use portals and I don't know how to vandalize them/knock them off the wall.

using a portal is the only way to do it... have you tried to do the ones that they say to do in the guide? you dont take every camera down in the game. just 33 of them and the guide shows you where they are located

If you can't make a portal on the camera, then it doesn't count towards the 33.

I was just wondering what the total achievement points for this 5-in-1 game was. Is it over 1000pts? Also, how many total achievements are there? Thanks.

^ 99 Achievements = 1000 pts. total

Just got the game, and want to know if I have to play the game on hard to get some of the achievements?

^ Nope. Cheat codes won't disable achievements either.

On Testroom 18, how do you get up to the crate? Its the big room where you take out 4 turrets and then get the square platform to go from side to side. When i reach the other side and try to jump for it i always miss. You can't use a portal and you can't grab the crate in the middle of the jump so i have no idea how this thing works.
