Step One - Cadet Playthrough

I would suggest doing your first playthrough on Cadet difficulty just to get the hang of things. Its a good opportunity to get to know the bullet drop over different distances and makes it a hell of a lot easier to get the collectibles and miscellaneous achievements. It doesn't matter if you miss collectibles and achievements on your first run as chapter select allows you to go back and clean up so on this playthrough just enjoy and get the feel of the game.

Step Two - Collectibles/Miscellaneous Achievements

Now that you have finished your playthrough and have a feel for the game time to go back and get any achievements and/or collectibles you may have missed. Since you started the game on easy it shouldn't take long with easy enemies and chapter select. You can check your overall stats in the extras menu, that way you know how far you have to go to unlock an achievement.

Step Three - Sniper Elite Playthrough

Now that you have all the story based, collectible, and miscellaneous achievements out of the way its time to do a playthrough on Sniper Elite difficulty. You could skip the easy playthrough and go straight for this but it could make things more difficult and very annoying for you depending on your skill. I wouldn't say it to hard on Sniper Elite but you will notice the difference, you can't take as many hits before dying and the enemy AI is more accurate.

Step Four - Online Co-op

Online achievements aren't very hard just take a little time. You can get one of your buddies to help you with this on find someone to help you in the Achievement Trading/Co-Op Thread.

Complete all missions on highest difficulty

This game isn't to difficult on Sniper Elite difficulty but can be harder in some spots. Use these tips to help you with your playthrough.

Note: All story related achievements can be unlocked in co-op except for this one, you will need to do this on your own.

Here's a few tips to help you while playing on Sniper Elite difficulty:

• Scouting is very helpful while playing on Sniper Elite difficulty, to use your binoculars press in :rs: and use :dup: and :ddown: to zoom in and out. Before attacking or walking into an area scout it out for enemies or to plan your attack/route, it will make things a lot easier for you rather than just guessing where to go.

• Rocks will really come in handy on this playthrough. When faced with a group of enemies use rocks to guide them away giving you the opportunity to advance, even to split up a group of enemies to take them out one by one.

• Use cover ALL the time, enemies will have their eye in on this playthrough and they rarely miss a shot on you. Just wait until you think your safe then pop your head up and take out one enemy at a time.

• Set traps when sitting in an open area or a building that the enemy can access. It helps a lot because if you get an enemy behind you while you concerntrating on sniping they will without a doubt kill you.

• Just take your time, rushing will not help you on this difficulty, take as much time as you need and be as stealthy as possible. Your silenced pistol will come in handy in tight spaces, try for the head shot becasue it takes a bit to ready your gun between shots. When faced with multiple enemies use your machine gun.

Complete a level without being shot a single time

The easiest level to do this on is the Prologue due to there not being as many enemies and its a relatively quick mission. Make sure you do this on your easy playthrough as it can be hard on a higher difficulty. Make sure to keep in cover and take your time, there is no point in rushing because it won't help you at all. Make use of your traps they will come in handy, your machine gun will also help a lot going for this achievement. If you get hit just restart checkpoint and will still unlock.

Complete a level with 100% accuracy, using only rifles

After you have finished the Prologue go back to chapter select and start it again. When it asks if you want to skip tutorial select 'Yes' and it will start you near the end of the level. All you have to do is make sure you only use your sniper to kill your enemies and every shot must hit. Very easy to unlock on Cadet difficulty.

Snipe a grenade on an enemy's webbing from 100m

This can be easily obtained on Mission 4, Opernplatz. After you're finished escorting, you will be directed to defend the building you are in. There will be a truck that comes from the North. You will need to scope in at the driver of the truck and shoot his grenade. Don't forget to focus in to make it a lot easier.

Career total of 50 shots on explosives

This will accumulate over all game modes. Explosives are grenades, cannon shells, barrels and anything that explodes. All you need to do is shoot a total of 50 explosives, an easy way to get this is if you reach a checkpoint near a barrel just shoot and and restart checkpoint and repeat until you get the achievement.

Make it through the tower to the winch room without being spotted

On Mission 6, Tiergaten Flak Tower, you will come to a tower's stairs. This is where the achievement starts at, not any of the killing before that. Follow where I go in the video and you will easily unlock this. If you happen to get caught, reload the checkpoint and try again.

Send the tank into the river by blowing up the bridge

On the third mission you will have to plant two bombs on the supports of a bridge, soon after you will set up at a vantage point facing the bridge you set the bombs on. You will see a few enemies and 3 tanks attempting to cross the bridge, don't let this happen. Wait until the first tank reaches the bomb on the right and shot the bomb to unlock this achievement.

Wipe out the Elite Russian Sniper Team from the rooftops

This achievement can be obtained on Mission 8, "Kreuzberg Headquarters". Near the end of the mission you will reach a building where you find the documents. There will be a cutscene where you are getting sniped at and have to go prone. There will be 8 snipers that you will need to kill on top of the rooftops. Take them all out and the achievement is yours.

Kill everyone in the convoy from ground level, except for Kreidl

On Mission 1, Schoneberg Convoy, you will come to a place where you will need to stop the convoy by shooting the explosives. After shooting the explosives, snipe Kreidl ONLY. Do NOT shoot any other enemy. After sniping him, run down the stairs until you reach the outside of the building. Now take out the remaining enemies on the ground. There will be a short cutscene which will show a tank. After that, continue to take out the convoy troops and the achievement will unlock.

Snipe 2 people with one shot

At the very start of the first mission right after you stealth kill the unaware soldier you will see two soldiers on the corner, wait for them to line up and hit them with a double headshot.

Get a sniped ricochet headshot

Go to the level Karlshorst Command Post and just after you destroy the tank and kill the enemies in front of the building you will come to a hallway. Follow the video and you will get this achievement easily. Seems to be the easiest and quickest way in the game to get it.

There are a total of 100 stolen gold bars and 37 wine bottles hidden thoughout the game, here are video's to all collectibles for each level.

Get 100 sniped headshots

This is an accumulative achievement and will add up over all game modes. Just aim for the enemies heads and you will eventually get this achievement. If you really want to farm this achievement follow the 'Double Dose' video and just keep restarting checkpoint. This achievement should unlock over the course of your 2 playthroughs.

Snipe 100 moving targets

This is an accumulative achievement and will add up over all game types. Everytime you kill a moving target it will count towards this, by moving the enemy has to be running not just moving. Easily farmed but you should unlock over the course of getting all other achievements.

Get 506 cumulative sniper kills

Reach a total of 506 kills with your sniper over all game modes, if you haven't got this after your two playthroughs and after doing the online achievements then just go do some single player or co-op until you unlock it.

Kill 100 enemies with explosives

Only grenades and your other explosive devices count towards this achievement, hitting a grenade on an enemies webbing also counts. Any time you are confronted with a group of enemies use a grenade to kill as many as possible, bollow is a video on a quick way to boost this achievement.

Hold your breath for a cumulative time of half an hour

To hold your breath press the :rbbut:, this will unlock over the course of your two plathroughs but if for some reason it doesn't find your self a nice hiding spot and keep holding your breath until the achievement unlocks.

Get a cumulative sniped kill distance of a marathon

Each kill gives you a distance in which you made the shot from, each time you get a sniper kill the distance will accumulate. You need 42,000kms (26 miles) total for this achievement to unlock which you will easily get over the course of your two playthroughs and online run.

Snipe an enemy through his eye

While going for head shots you should get this, it can be obtained from being shot anywhere in the head as long as it goes through the eye it will unlock. You will see the eye explode to confirm you have got an eye shot, you can even get this by shooting an enemy that is asleep in a chair straight in the eye.

Covertly kill 25 unaware enemies

Unaware kills are stealth kills by sneaking up behind an enemy and kills while covered buy noise. An easy way to boost this is to start the first mission and kill the guy at the start by stealth killing him from behind with the :abut: and restarting checkpoint. Repeat until the achievement unlocks.

Destroy a tank by sniping the fuel supply

On the first mission after killing Kreidl and a few of his enemies a tank will come up the street and stop in the middle of the road. As it drives up it will show you were the fuel caps are on the back of the tank. What you will need to do is shoot the fuel cap causing the tank to explode. It can be very annoying shooting the fuel cap due to it being so small but you shouldn't have a big problem with, just take your time and this shouldn't be a problem.

Snipe an enemy while your rifle fire is masked by a loud sound

At the very start of the second mission directly in front of you there will be an enemy in a watch toucher, line him up and wait for the speakers to start. A sound icon will appear in the top right hand corner, when it does shoot the soldier and this achievement will unlock.

Use a trip mine to kill an enemy who is trying to assault your position

On the Prologue it will tell you to put down a trip wire as a part of the tutorial, this trip wire should kill an enemy and unlock the achievement. If for some reason it doesn't leave a trip wire in a door way or an area that a enemy will run through and when they trip it, it will explode and the achievement will unlock.

Get a scoped headshot over 150m

This should be the first achievement you get in the game, you will come to a point in the Prologue where you have to kill your target from a window across a courtyard. Make sure to hit him in the head to unlock this achievement, if you miss just restart checkpoint and try again.

Complete all co-op Overwatch Missions

There are 3 Overwatch missions to do, none of witch are hard at all to do. Just set the game to casual and have some fun, you will have this achievement in about 30 minutes. If you need some help then post in the Achievement Trading/Co-Op Thread.

Survive 10 Games of bombing run

To unlock this achievement you must complete 10 games of 'Bombing Run', easiest done with a partner that uses a headset. Once you complete 10 games the achievement will unlock, you can get help from one of your friends or find help in the Achievement Trading/Co-Op Thread.

Resuscitate your partner in coop 10 times

To revive a downed team mate press and hold :abut:. An easy way to get this is to clear an area and leave only 1-2 enemies, and get your partner to stand on the corner of a building and purposely get downed while you stand around the corner and revive them. Repeat until the achievement is unlocked.

As a spotter in Overwatch, tag 50 enemies

In multiplayer Overwatch game type you can tag enemies for your partner making it easier for them to spot and kill. You will need to tag 50 enemies for 'Target Spotted' and you will need to kill 50 tagged enemies for 'Target Eliminated'. Kills will accumulate over each game.

You say the first mission for the 100% using only rifles, how can you do this when you are forced to use the hand gun as it's a training mission?.

I haven't played co-op yet so I couldn't tell you, I don't know if co-op is only its own game type or if it has story co-op.

Edit: I just checked and it has online Co-op story but seems to be different than in SP so I guess it can't be unlock in co-op

For the X amount of kills using explosives.. one of the last missions you starty crouched with a baddie walking away. Throw a fra at his feet. there is anotehr kraut around the corner. BOOM 2 explosive kills... restart and repeat.
You're only like 3 seconds into the level so it's basically start, 2 seconds.. throw.. 2 seconds.. boom.. restart...
Sorry I can't remember the level tho.

Also for destroying exploding objects CANNON shells with red tips work as well... the level wit the trenches has 1 explosive device at every MG nest.

Yeah you have to do that on single player unfortunantely.

for the co op achievemnts is there a dedicated server where you can search for others to play with in order to do bombing missions and overwatch (like you can with modern warfare 3 spec ops) or do you have to know a friend/find someone on here who has the game? stupid question i know but just want to confirm before i buy this. : )

Demo level 4/10:
1. Building near the start to the left of the 2 guards
2. After climbing up the wall to get into the building where stealth kill (after first sniper),
downstairs
3. By first Plant point, go down alley and climb through window
4. Below the vantage point, next room

Mittelwerk?: 4/10
1. Building below the start (right of the road), in the bunk room
2. Building below the start (left of the road), in the bunk room
3. Once you exit the first area via the objective marker on the left, enter the immediately room on your
right
4. In the facility, if you keep going right there's a kinda lift on the right you can get onto

Russians in Berlin level: 7/10 - Bottles 1/4
1. On the far right there's a building, opposite that sniper up high on the right at start. Right room
2. Below 1 there are two guys talking. Kill them, follow alley to the very, very end (behind a box)
3. Building next to 2, next floor up in a room by a guy looking out the window
4. Opposite 3, there is a massive ruined building. After killing the sniper on the top floor up there,
carry on through and it's on the top floor, basically about the 5 man patrol on the road
5. Before actually planting the bombs on the bridge, go straight ahead on the docks
6. After destroying the tank, drop down from the building. Basically straight ahead and a little to the
right, there is a staircase going down to a similar dock to before. It's by the crane (as before, too)
A. After 6, there are two mounted machine gunners at the end of a bridge. To the right of the bridge,
high up on a podium
7. To the left of A, there's a long ruined building. Basically the far end of the building, low down on
the left, in a corner near a bath

Wow the 1000:gsicon: is really that easy...? I was going to get this anyway but now this is even better.

sniper elite achievement is mission 9

Does shooting an explosive count as missing for the 100% accuracy achievement? For example the satchels on the first mission. If it does, then what mission would be the easiest to get it on?

Yes it has game search so you don't need a party. But it could take awhile because most people would play with friends I would imagine.

It's not a New Game+ so I'm sure it will erase everything. Yes, you can use Mission Select to finish them on Sniper Elite.
