Just a word of warning to everybody: The achievements in this game are GLITCHED.
The only ones everybody could unlock properly are the ones for Fatality, Babality, Animality, Flawless x2 and Online Flawless.

All the others (Beat MK1, MK2, UMK3, beat all games, 200 wins) pop (or not) randomly! As of now, there is no special way to unlock them. The only thing you can do is to try and play through the games again. If you do not feel like it, wait for a patch to arrive!

I unlocked both MK1 and MK2 after a second playthrough.
UMK3's achievement unlocked after my 4th playthrough

There is no special requirement!

- You CAN play on very easy
- You do NOT need to beat all the "Test your might" stages
- You do NOT need to beat the ?-Stage
- You can switch characters as much as you like
- Achievements pop up directly after the final boss is defeated (If not, don't bother with the credits and restart, as it's glitched then)

neverrealm knows about this problem and is currently looking into it.

I had that happen too. I did wonder if maybe it requires a difficulty that isn't mentioned in the description, I was playing it on very easy because I suck. But broken is just as likely..

You can check mine as I have the achievement for MK1 and it was set to "very easy" in the main menu setting. I also switched up characters as I played through and that didn't interfere either. Hopefully it was just a random bug.

Well this is unfair.. did you complete all the test your might stages perfectly? Maybe you need to successfully complete those as well.

Forgot to mention that. I timed out of each one, so no they didn't need to be completed perfectly for the achievement.

Okay, now I've played through again and received the achievement at the end.
I passed 2 of the 3 test your might stages and also switched chars and played on very easy.

It happened to me aswell. Just beat it again and it should unlock.

Annoying? Yep.

Guess what?
I just beat MK2 and guess what happened.. ?
NO ACHIEVEMENT.

FUCK THIS GAME, I'm SO mad right now. Are the devs stupid, stinking monkeys or something?! WTF.

I might steer clear of the story modes for now....

I play through UMK3 now since I should get the "Beat all 3 games"-achievement afterwards.

I beat the first game and got the achievement without issue. it was set to normal and i lost a lot and failed all of the test your might. Not sure why so many people are getting hosed on this.

Alright, after beating MK2 with no achievement I just beat UMK3 and no achievement here, as well.

I really hate the devs. They should test games before releasing them.

Just finished MK1 on very easy with many continues, completed all 3 test your mights, and got the achievement. Are you guys sure you're not playing the trial? :D

Try keeping it on "Normal" difficulty. It seems modifying the difficulty settings or modifying any settings at all voids it. It's glitchy as hell, what a bummer.

I've got 25 points that says it doesn't void anything and that you're making this stuff up.

You guys aren't alone. I dunno if I'm just THIS horrible at MK or what, but it took me THREE HOURS to beat MK2.....And guess what?....No achievement...............................The game is SO lucky it's digital, otherwise if it were a disc, it'd be snapped in half by now. I'm waiting for a patch before I even CONSIDER beating ANY of these games again....

well thanks for making me steer clear of this i was going to pick it up today but i guess i shall wait untill it's fixed or quite possibly never lol xD

The MK1 chievo popped for me, luckily, otherwise I would be beyond pissed. Since beating Shang Tsung was NOT fun!!
Also gonna wait with the 2 others until it is confirmed that the chievo's will pop.

i played it as a trial game and from the first match i knew something was wrong with it so i didn't buy it

it feel so dam cheap even cheater than a TV boy version 2

Popped for me on my second rage filled, pad breaking run. Think I'm going to leave it at that for now. Were the Mega Drive versions this hard? I don't remember so much pain..

This might be specific to only a few people. I got all three this morning and the chievo to finish all three. I'm not sure what the hang up is on your end but maybe you can try to delete the game and clear the cache then download the game again. Just a thought. I hope you get it sorted soon. This game brings back so many great memories!!

Mortal Kombat CPU players have always been super cheap, this collection is just as brutal as it was back in the arcades.

Damn, now I've beaten MK3 again and no achievement.. that did the trick in MK1 and MK2.. well.. seems like I have to beat it again .. but not now.. srsly. Enough MK for today.

No problems for me with the achievements. Everything has unlocked without hesitation so far.

Lucky you. I'll have to beat MK3 again in order to get the remaining achievements.. at least I don't have to beat MK2 3 times.. ugh..

Finished Mk1 and got the achievement, but finished Mk2 and got nothing :(
