I think they should have achievements like Bad Company 2's, but with more creativity. And take out Demolition Man, PLEASE! That is the only achievement in main game I don't have :)

i hope they have a comic achievement in there like dentist from bc2 or darwins parachute from bc1

There definitely has to be a humorous one in there! Anyway, I would like if they have:

- Reach the highest rank
- Unlock everything (specs., guns, etc.)
- Obtain all awards
- Kill 10,000+ players

If not in achievements, then definitely in award form. Why didn't they include these classics in Battlefield Bad Company 2?! :/

Why did you pick the worst possible achievements :P In award form for sure though, I'm sure its gonna follow on a lot from BC2.

Yeah no more Demo 2.0 or Et, Tu, but achievements that wont alter a players overall approach to the MP are fine.

i dont want chevos linked to badcompany! as this is BATTLEFIELD 3, its got nothing to do with badcompany!

i hope its the same kinda stuff as bf2 :)

Well if your comparing this to BC2 award wise then fair enough achievements for some of these awards would be nice seeing as we've done it all in BC2 anyway..just hope they don't mess up this game like they did with MoH.

I would say that the achevo's will be more in keeping with Battelfield 2 and not BF:BC !

Some of those online achievements on Battlefield 2 were a pain in @$$, but they were fun tho :uzi:

the multiplayer was really good, but I didnt care much for the campaign. I think I got all but 2 of the MP cheevos

I don't understand why some of you want achievements similar to BF2. They are completely uninventive and boring, typical of early 360 games.

500 or 5000 matches (whichever it was) is a terrible achievement. Other gamers tell me the community now is turbo controllers galore...

I want about 600-700 campaign, a couple co-op and the rest for MP. Demo Man, as annoying as it was, is definitely doable if you have the right methods.

They more than likely will. If they are adding an entire new feature into their campaign they'll probably have achievements linked to it.

Which is exactly how it should be, in my opinion. I hate to admit that I boosted ~12 of my first 20 demo kills and I did not get nearly the satisfaction out of getting it that I could have. I've since gotten plenty more and they have been way more satisfying.

I boosted that Demo 2.0, every single one of em. I just wanted the 1k ASAP :]

As for wanting achievements like BF2:MC, the list was severely flawed and boring, I have around 60 points from that game. The multiplayer was amazing though. I expect something fairly similar to BC2, maybe without the collectible achievements.

The only thing that makes it tedious about it is that it's frustrating and requires some good luck. I'm all for achievements that take a little time to get, but I agree that they could have chosen something else. Then again, it did force you to really take advantage of the game engine which is admirable in an achievement in my opinion. It kind of almost embodies what the point of an achievement is, really: to reward you for doing things in a game you might not otherwise.

Funny Achievments
 
I say have more humorous achievements like the dentist. But they should make them secret though cause i got the Dentist by thinking it would be a funny thing to do and i laughed for like 10 minutes alot funnier then when I read Darwins Parachute and actually tried for it. They're so much funnier when they're accidents.

Okay I have a few decent ideas:

An achievement for reaching at least rank 40. (rank 22 in bad company 2 was not prestigious.

An achievement called a taste of every gunniety for gold starring every weapon.

Hard to earn avatar awards to show off to your friends.

Just pls no demo 2.0:uzi:

I doubt they'll include avatar awards unfortunately, because they're adding stuff to the marketplace. I would love some though. Also, gold starring every weapon would be a pain, I bronze starred all weapons in BC2 for the medal and some of them weapons are BAD.
