looks like an easy 1000 g to me but a fun one too.

Just picked this up today and I was wondering are the individual episodes re-playable in-case of any missed chieves or will it require a second play through, cheers.

you can just pick episode and play it again

Im picking this game up today, looks like an eays 1000 Gs, plus it looks like fun.

i think what you said covers this but just incase. can you replay levels and burn any roots of evil you missed and how many are there in each chapter ?

I don't think so, it's better to go for the roots before you finish episode 8. They ar eso easy to find.

Speaking of roots. Got a tricky one I'm trying to get.

Left side of the big lake, under ground across a traverse with some contraption in front. I'm presuming you have to set the thing moving round on fire but I have no idea how to do that. Pointers appreciated :D

EDIT: Literally just did it after I posted lol

For those who come to it. Stop the machine. Throw a tape+bottle+rag combination and stick the cylinders that move around. Then run and start the machine and stop by the root :D

I don't know what happened with the post here for help thread but I'll ask my question here : I'm stuck on level 7 part 4 where you have to discover al symbols, I'm missing two and I think I've done all of them in the area of the house...

I'm looking how to get the one that is on a large spire of rock inside a fissure, there are two ramps pointing towards it but I have NO idea how to get it.
Any help would be appreciated.
Also can anyone tell me how to stop the forcefield around the Path of Light? Thank you!

Use the car to ramp it (I think we're talking about the same thing).

And throw a molotov over to destroy the root to remove the forcefield.

How the HELL am I meant to wing a molotov over that Forcefield!!!
And do I just have to ramp the car up and hit the root or what?
Do I have to set it on fire?
This game is amazing lol.

I'm not sure we're talking about the same one. If it's the one with the burning car, then I wasn't talking about that one. That's the catapult one. Use the car and land on the other end to the burning car and then its flung.

And the forcefield... That conversation is going on in another thread. The vision helps lower the height. So keep doing roots till the trajectory goes over.

I'm stuck with the Useless-achievement. Where can I find a wick for the empty bottle?

What are the main hardish achievements

The wick is using a hanky to turn it into a Molotov (well it would be if it wasn't actually empty :P).

Ep 5 Seq2 where the black floor liquid is, cant get passed it it always gets me right at the door at the end no matter where my torch is shining

I was playing through the chapter 3 seq 3 and then my game bugs, i load the entire chapter again from the beginning (from the episodes menu i load chapter 3 seq 1) and my question is... if i still playing i can get the achievement of complete the chapters (without skipping any seq) and for complete the game?

Ok guys I would appreciate any help to find me these two items to help get me 2 achievements.

The first is a goldfish.

Im on chapter 8 and I havent seen a single goldfish the whole game!
Where can I find one?

The second is the car key in a sun visor.

I must have checked about 100 cars and visors in central park but still I can not find one with a key in it!?

It's at the start of Epp 3.3 or 3.4. The place where you need to blow up the cocoon. In the water your standing in then there is 1 goldfish.

Is Cockpit Addict a hard achievement?It is the only I'm missing for 1000

i ended up getting it on my frist try but that was because i played it about 100 times in third person mode so i was used to the streets

Obtained now on my first try.Guide on first person in easier then third.

Some questions:

Firstly, 59th street, where is that? I'm sure it was on the way to Central Park, but which street is it? I can't tell, cause I want to replay that for that achievement later on.

Now for hotwiring a car....how do you do it? I got the one with the key in the visor, but now I need that one, cuse ever other car I get into, I can easily start up with the ignition.

And speaking of cars, how do you go about doing the gas tank one? You know, piercing a gas tank to get the free gas? I'm at a loss with it, cause when I was in Central Park, before jumping the giant gap, I got a screw driver but had no idea on getting the free gas. Then I got killed and decided to leave it alone and instead, jumped the gap. Cause you can't combine it with the gas, you have to equip the screw driver, which sucks.

And this one, it's no problem, cause I am getting the achievements, but want to know just in case it might happen. Skipping sequences....what do they mean by that? Cause I have the first three achievements of not skipping sequences and am up to number 4 now, but would like to know for future reference. Thanks ^^

Just as a little help for anyone else trying to find a car with a key in the visor, the VERY FIRST CAR in the game (at the beginning of the parking garage in episode 2) has a key in its visor, or at least has the 2 times i checked it.... hopefully this works for everyone...

I am stuck on the level "The Path of Light" after climbing up the rope and also through the train compartments, you get to an area where a few humanz pop out of the ground. I keep dying here because I am low on health from last missions. If i choose new episode and start a new "The Path of Light" will the achievement lose the data I've gotten with the previous roots I burned?
